DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village 2026: Know Schedule, Free Classes, Parking
The DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village is the largest free fitness village of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, open daily from 31 October to 29 November 2026. It has free 30-minute classes in 17 zones and courts you book free online. It opens 3pm to 11pm on weekdays and 7am to 11pm at weekends.
The DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village opens on Saturday 31 October at 7am. The first class will start on the main stage at 7.15am. Every class is free, from sunrise yoga to boxing, and you just walk in. New this year are golf and football simulators. Want a court? Book it early. On 30 October, padel and cricket were almost full for the first weekend, but beach volleyball and beach soccer still have plenty of free hours.
DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village in 2026
This guide takes you round the whole village, zone by zone, so you know where to go before you arrive. You will also see a real weekend morning and a weekday evening, how to book a court, and how to get there and park.
Kite Beach Fitness Village Timings
The village is open every day from Saturday 31 October to Sunday 29 November 2026. The hours depend on the day:
- Monday to Friday: 3pm to 11pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 7am to 11pm
Kite Beach is the only one of the three villages that opens in the morning. It does this at weekends only. Zabeel Park and Al Warqa'a Park open in the afternoon, as our guide to the Dubai Fitness Villages shows.
Friday is a weekday at the village
Many people in the UAE have Friday afternoon off. The village still keeps weekday hours on Fridays and opens at 3pm. So plan your morning workouts for Saturday and Sunday.
Over the 30 days, you get ten weekend days with morning classes and twenty weekdays that start in the afternoon.
Is the Kite Beach Fitness Village free?
Yes, everything inside the village is free. You pay nothing to walk in, join a class or book a court. There is no ticket.
When you arrive, you pass the registration area at the entrance. Last year, visitors showed a QR code from their Dubai Fitness Challenge registration at the gate, and it made entry quick. Do the same this year. Registering for the challenge is free and takes a few minutes. You also need the same account to book a court. Our Dubai Fitness Challenge registration guide shows each step.
Kite Beach itself is a public beach. You can walk on to the sand at any time without going into the village.
What You Can Do at Kite Beach Fitness Village
The village has 17 zones and new simulators this year, and this is what you do in each one.
1. etisalat Main Stage
This is the heart of the village. An instructor leads from the stage, and the crowd follows on the sand below. In a group that big, nobody watches you get a step wrong. The classes are dance and cardio: Zumba, step, HIIT, BoxFitness and Bollywood Fitness. Dance Fusion mixes Latin, Afro, Bollywood, Arabic and pop music, and you need no dance experience at all.
If you are new to exercise, start here. The opening weekend also has some special sessions on this stage, listed in the schedule section below.
2. Amazon Rebounder
A rebounder is a mini trampoline. You get your own, and you bounce to music while the instructor leads. It is kinder on your knees than running, and it is a lot of fun.
Bounce Basics and Retro Bounce are the easy ones, with simple moves to songs from every decade. Rebounder HIIT is the hard one. Save it for when you have bounced before.
3. Puff Spin
Puff Spin is an indoor cycling class on the beach. You ride a fixed bike to loud music, and the instructor calls out the climbs and sprints. You set your own resistance, so a first-timer and a cyclist can ride side by side.
The Sing Along Ride is the friendliest start. Spin Intervals is the toughest, with hard sprints and short breaks.
4. Puff Engine Room
The Engine Room is for people who already lift. You work with kettlebells, dumbbells and bands at timed stations. Race Ready and the race-style conditioning classes train you like a fitness race, so come here if you are preparing for one.
Power Hour and Kettlebell HIIT are advanced classes. New to kettlebells? Take a strength circuit first, and ask the coach to check your swing.
5. Puff Circuit
In a circuit, you move round stations in timed rounds. Here they are TRX straps, dumbbells, medicine balls and boxes to step and jump on. In Station Strong, you pick your own dumbbells, from 5kg to 10kg, so any level can join. TRX Athlete Circuit is the advanced one.
On the opening weekend, this zone hosts Fit Bingo by FitCalendar, a fitness bingo game, from 4.15pm to 7.15pm on Saturday and Sunday.
6. Whoop Lift
Whoop Lift is an outdoor gym. Most sessions mix weight training with short bursts of cardio. If you have never lifted before, choose Strength Foundations. It teaches the basic moves before you add weight.
On Sunday 1 November at 6.30pm, Commercial Bank of Dubai will run a Bootcamp class here.
7. Whoop Body Work
This zone has smart gym machines with screens. On the strength machine, an AI coach checks your form and sets the weight for you. You also ride and row, with every effort tracked on the screen.
The surprise here is free Reformer Pilates. A reformer is a Pilates machine with a sliding carriage and springs, and studio classes usually cost money. In Reformer Basics, the instructor sets the springs and guides you through each move, so you need no experience. Places go fast, so arrive early.
8. DIEZ HIIT
HIIT means high-intensity interval training: short, hard bursts with quick rests. In this zone, you work with sandbags of 5kg or 10kg for squats, lunges, carries and presses. You choose the weight, so Sweat Circuit and Sandbag Strong HIIT suit every level.
Plyo Power adds jumps. Agility Rush adds fast footwork. Both are a good test if you are already fit.
9. DIEZ Box'd
This is where you learn to punch properly. Punch Fundamentals is made for first-timers. It teaches the jab, cross, hook and uppercut, with a focus on stance and footwork.
Once you know the basics, try Combat Fusion. It mixes boxing with MMA strikes. Knockout Conditioning uses boxing rounds as a full workout, and the coach can make every move easier.
10. DIEZ MMA
Despite the name, this zone teaches karate. Instructors from ISKF UAE run traditional Shotokan karate sessions all day. Shotokan is a Japanese style known for deep stances and sharp, precise strikes.
Choose ISKF Basic Techniques if you have never tried karate. The 100 Punches Challenge and the Kicking Challenge are short, fun tests to do with a friend. On Saturday 31 October at 5.05pm, ISKF will also give a karate demonstration on the main stage.
11. CBD Wellness
This is the quiet corner of the village. The classes are yoga, stretching, breathwork and mat Pilates. Breathwork means guided breathing exercises that calm you down.
On a weekday, Yoga for Beginners runs in the afternoon and again around sunset. On Sunday 1 November, the day will end with a Gong Bath at 9.30pm. You lie still while the instructor plays gongs around you.
12. CBD Wellness Rooftop
The rooftop classes are yoga above the beach, so this is the best place in the village for sunrise and sunset. Sunrise Flow will start at 7.15am on Saturday 31 October and at 8am on Sunday 1 November. On weekdays, Sunset Stretch runs in the late afternoon.
On Sunday evening, you can also try Tai Chi at 8.45pm and Qigong at 9.30pm. Both are slow Chinese movement practices for balance and calm.
13. Whoop Pilates
Mat Pilates builds core strength with slow, controlled moves on a mat. Pilates Basics and Pilates for Posture are gentle starts. Sculpt Club and Tula Sculpt Pilates add resistance bands, light weights and soft balls.
In the evenings there are barre classes too. Barre is a workout inspired by ballet, with small moves done at a rail or on the mat.
14. Emirates Skate Park
The skate park is open whenever the village is open. There are no classes and no booking, so you just turn up and skate. Bring your own board and a helmet. The organisers do not say that boards are available to borrow.
15. Nissan Navara Pro Obstacle Course
This is an obstacle course for adults. You must be over 16 to take part. You climb, crawl and jump your way round, and there is no class to wait for. Try it on a weekday afternoon, when the village is quieter.
16. Skechers Beach Warrior
This is the zone for children. It is a drop-in area on the sand for children under 12, with no booking. The organisers have not described the activities yet, so stay close the first time and let your child try it.
17. Water Sports
You can try water sports right off Kite Beach. It is a drop-in zone with no booking. The booking site does not list the sports or an age limit. Last year, visitors tried paddle boards at the village. Bring swimwear and a towel if you want to go in.
18. Golf and Football Simulators
These are the big new arrivals for 2026. Khaleej Times reported on 28 October that the village will have golf and football simulators. A simulator lets you swing at a golf ball or shoot at a goal while a screen shows where the ball would go.
They are not on the booking site's list of zones. So we expect you can walk up and play. Ask at the registration area where to find them.
Kite Beach Fitness Village Schedule
Every day at the village has its own timetable. Most zones start a new class every 45 minutes, and the main stage keeps its own times. On Sunday 1 November alone, the timetable lists more than 250 free classes.
Here is what a weekend morning looks like:
And here is a weekday evening, when most people come after work:
The opening weekend also has some special sessions:
- Saturday 31 October, 5.05pm, ISKF Karate Demonstration: a karate show on the main stage.
- Saturday 31 October, 6pm and 6.30pm, 25 Years Zumba Celebration Party: two back-to-back Zumba parties on the main stage.
- Saturday 31 October, 7.50pm, 10 Years Strong Nation Master Class: a cardio workout set to music, on the main stage.
- Saturday 31 October, 9.40pm, Pound Fitness: a drumming workout with light sticks, on the main stage.
- Sunday 1 November, 5.05pm, MountainFit HIIT Climb Stronger: an interval class on the main stage.
- Sunday 1 November, 6.40pm, Latin Fit: a Latin dance workout on the main stage.
- Sunday 1 November, 9.30pm, Gong Bath: a relaxation session in CBD Wellness.
Check the timetable for your day before you leave home. It changes daily, and the booking site shows one week at a time:
- Open booking.dubaifitnesschallenge.com. On the Kite Beach card, tap "Classes".
- Tap your day in the row of dates. The arrow on the right shows the next week.
- Pick a zone from the list on the left. The main stage shows first.
- Tap any class to read what it is and its level, from beginner to advanced.
There is nothing to book for a class. You just turn up. But each zone takes a set number of people, and a class can fill. Arrive 10 minutes early for a class you really want, like sunrise yoga or Reformer Pilates. If it is full, the same zone starts another class 45 minutes later.
How to Book a Court at Kite Beach
Courts are free, but you must book them online. Each booking is for 60 minutes. You can book one court a day and up to three a week. There are seven courts at Kite Beach:
The Talabat Playground is the one court without a sport in its name. The organisers list basketball as a sport you can book, so this is most likely the basketball court.
Book early, especially for padel. This is how full the courts were on Friday 30 October:
Weekdays fill more slowly than weekends. On 30 October, every court still had free hours for the week of 7 to 13 November. The days after that showed no slots yet, so check back as each new week opens.
These are the steps on the booking site:
- Open booking.dubaifitnesschallenge.com. On the Kite Beach card, tap "Courts".
- Pick a court from the list on the left.
- Tap a day in the row of dates. Use the arrow on the right for the next week.
- The free start times show as buttons under Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Tap one.
- Your time appears at the bottom of the screen. Tap "Book", then sign in with your Dubai Fitness Challenge account to finish.
Arrive before your hour starts
Your 60 minutes start at the booked time, so get to the court a few minutes early. If a day is full, the site says "No free slots left for this day". Try a weekday afternoon instead.
Kite Beach Run Club
The Run Club is confirmed for the Kite Beach village, but the days and start times are not published yet. The event page says you can join it to take your 30 minutes beyond the zones. It does not say when the runs start or how far they go.
Last year, opening day at Kite Beach was busy by 7am, and the running track along the beach was already full of people. So expect the club runs to use that track.
Until the times are out, here is how to find the next run:
- Ask at the registration area when you arrive.
- Follow @dubaifitnesschallenge on Instagram, where the organisers post updates.
- Call the Dubai Fitness Challenge on +971 600 555559.
We will add the times to this page when they are published.

The village changes a little each year, but the feel stays the same. These videos from 2025 show you what to expect.

Kite Beach Parking and How to Get There
Parking at Kite Beach is public and first come, first served. The organisers have not announced extra parking or a shuttle bus. Weekend mornings are the busiest, so come early or take a taxi.
The car parks along the beach are Dubai paid parking. The letter on the sign (A, B, C or D) sets the price. You pay with the Parkin app or by SMS. These are the Dubai rules:
- Paid hours are 8am to 10pm. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays, and free before 8am and after 10pm.
- Peak hours are 8am to 10am and 4pm to 8pm, when every zone costs AED 4 an hour.
- At other times, zones C and D cost AED 2 an hour, and zone B costs AED 3.
So a Sunday visit costs nothing to park. A Saturday 7am class is free until 8am. A weekday evening falls mostly in peak hours:
The village is on the sand at Kite Beach, in Umm Suqeim 1, Jumeirah. You can find it on Google Maps.
The Metro does not stop near the beach. The nearest Red Line station is Garmin, which was called ONPASSIVE until September. Some signs may still show the old name. It is about 3km away by road, so take a taxi for the last part. To come by bus, plan your trip in RTA's S'hail app.
On Sunday 1 November, the Dubai Ride will close Sheikh Zayed Road in the early morning. If you drive to Kite Beach that morning, use Al Wasl Road or Jumeirah Beach Road. Our Dubai Ride route guide has the details.
Tips for Your Visit to Kite Beach Fitness Village
Pack light. You will move between zones, and many classes are on the sand. Bring these:
- A refillable water bottle. There are free water refill stations in the village.
- A small towel, and swimwear if you want to try the water sports.
- Trainers for the main stage and the strength zones, and clothes you can move in.
- A hat and sunscreen for weekend mornings. The sun is strong by 10am.
- Your phone, with your court booking and your Dubai Fitness Challenge account ready.
The organisers have not listed lockers, so bring only what you can carry. You can leave a bike or a stroller at the registration area.
For food and drink, the village has a café. Kite Beach also has cafés and food trucks along the beach walk, just outside the village.
To avoid the crowds, go on a weekday between 3pm and 5pm. The village is at its quietest then. Weekend mornings and weekday evenings after 6pm are the busiest times. Evenings are also the coolest, so they suit a hard workout.
With children, head to Skechers Beach Warrior if they are under 12. Teenagers over 16 can try the obstacle course. Last year, the village also had an inflatable obstacle course for children and a paid aqua park. Neither has been announced for 2026.
