Dubai Fitness Villages 2026: Zabeel Park, Timings, Classes

Fitness village in Dubai as Zabeel Park where people are exercising and collecting bib

For 30 days every November, Dubai turns a handful of its parks and beaches into free open-air gyms. You can walk in after work, join a boxing class, book a padel court, let the kids loose in their own zone, and pay nothing. These are the Dubai Fitness Villages, and three of them will open for Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026.

So far only one has been named for 2026: the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park. The other two will be announced later. Below you will find what is confirmed, what is still to come, and every village Dubai has run over the last five years, so you can see where the others are likely to land.

Which are the Dubai Fitness Villages in 2026: The Complete List

There will be three Fitness Villages in 2026. Here is where they will be, as far as Dubai has announced.

We will add the other two, with map links, the day Dubai names them.

What Is a Dubai Fitness Village?

A Fitness Village is a large, temporary outdoor fitness park that Dubai sets up for the month of Dubai Fitness Challenge. Think of it as a festival site built for exercise: a main stage running group classes, zones for boxing, spinning and cycling, courts you can book, a kids' area and a ladies-only space, all free.

The idea is simple. The challenge asks everyone in the city to do 30 minutes of activity a day for 30 days, and the villages give people somewhere to do it, with coaches and equipment waiting. You don't need to be a member of anything, and you don't need to be fit. Each village has a presenting partner whose name goes on the sign, such as DP World at Kite Beach or Dubai Municipality at Zabeel Park.

Alongside the villages, smaller Community Fitness Hubs will pop up in malls, business districts and community centres across the city, each with free sessions of its own.

Dubai Fitness Villages 2026: What Is Confirmed So Far

Dubai confirmed on 1 October 2026 that there will be three free Fitness Villages and more than 23 Community Fitness Hubs this year. The villages will have free classes, dedicated ladies' areas and facilities for basketball, football, padel and volleyball.

Confirmed for 2026

  • Three Fitness Villages and more than 23 Community Fitness Hubs
  • The Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park
  • Free classes, ladies' areas, basketball, football, padel and volleyball
  • Dubai Ride bib collection at Zabeel Park, 28 to 31 October
  • Dubai Run bib collection at Zabeel Park, 2 to 21 November

Not announced yet

  • Where two of the three villages will be
  • The full list of Fitness Hubs
  • Opening hours for any village
  • The day-by-day class schedule
  • Presenting partners for the other two villages

When the rest will be announced

The full 30-day calendar, with every village, hub and class, has not been published yet. In 2025 it came out on 28 October, a few days before the challenge began. We will update this page the day the 2026 locations are named.

Zabeel Park 30x30 Fitness Village 2026

The Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park is the one village we know for certain. The official Dubai Fitness Challenge FAQ (read 2 October 2026) names it as the place where Dubai Ride and Dubai Run bibs and T-shirts will be collected, which means thousands of people will pass through it before the challenge even starts.

It will be the third year in a row at Zabeel Park. The village first appeared there in 2024, replacing One Central as the bib collection point.

What will happen at Zabeel Park in 2026

  • Dubai Ride bib and T-shirt collection: 28 to 31 October 2026, ahead of the ride on Sunday 1 November. See our Dubai Ride 2026 guide.
  • Dubai Run bib and T-shirt collection: 2 to 21 November 2026, ahead of the run on Sunday 22 November. See our Dubai Run bib collection guide.
  • Free classes and sport, in line with the 2026 announcement: classes, ladies' areas, basketball, football, padel and volleyball. The exact zones will be confirmed with the calendar.

What the Zabeel Park village had in 2024

The 2024 programme gives a good idea of what to expect. It had a Cricket Zone, a Running Club, a Spinning Zone, a 3-on-3 basketball court, a Kids' Fitness Zone, dance sessions and fitness classes, and it doubled as the bib collection hub for Dubai Ride and Dubai Run.

Opening hours: 2024 as a guide

The 2026 hours have not been announced. In 2024 the Zabeel Park village opened from 4pm to 11pm Monday to Thursday, midday to midnight on Friday, 8am to midnight on Saturday and 8am to 11pm on Sunday.

How to get to Zabeel Park

Zabeel Park sits beside the Dubai Frame, between Karama and Sheikh Zayed Road. Which gate the village will use in 2026 has not been published, so check before you set off.

Where Will the Other Two Fitness Villages Be?

Dubai has not said yet. But the last five years give some strong clues.

Kite Beach has hosted a village every year from 2021 to 2025. It has always been the biggest, presented by DP World, right on the sand in Umm Suqeim. If any location is a safe bet for 2026, it is this one, but until Dubai confirms it, treat it as likely rather than certain. Lists online that already give Kite Beach and Al Warqa'a Park as 2026 villages are repeating 2025 details.

Al Warqa'a Park hosted a village in 2024 and 2025, built around cycling and running for the city's eastern side. The east of the city has had a village every year: Al Khawaneej in 2022, Mushrif Park in 2021 and 2023, and Al Warqa'a Park since.

Dubai Fitness Villages in the Last Five Years

The line-up has changed almost every year. Here is where the villages were, and what made each one different.

2025: Kite Beach, Zabeel Park and Al Warqa'a Park

Three villages, the same three locations as the year before. Gulf News called the Kite Beach village "Dubai's largest free sports village", with an aqua park, wellness sessions, padel, rooftop yoga, beach cricket, volleyball, football, skateboarding, basketball and cycling. Across the three sites there was beach football, basketball, cricket, padel, a kids' fitness zone, boxing, a running and cycling track and gym sessions. More than 25 Community Fitness Hubs ran alongside them.

2024: Kite Beach, Zabeel Park and Al Warqa'a Park

The first year of today's line-up:

  • DP World Kite Beach 30x30 Fitness Village: gymnastics, boxing, MMA, beach volleyball, water sports, family zones, a wellness area and an aqua park. Schools had it in the mornings on weekdays; it opened to the public from 3pm to 11pm, and from 7am at weekends.
  • Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30x30 Fitness Village: cricket, a running club, spinning, 3-on-3 basketball, a kids' zone, and Dubai Ride and Dubai Run bib collection.
  • RTA Al Warqa'a Park 30x30 Fitness Village: a Cycling Hub with 75 bikes, a running club, kids' and ladies' zones, football and multi-sport areas.

There were 25 Community Fitness Hubs.

2023: Kite Beach, Mushrif Park and One Central

  • DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village: the biggest yet, with 24 sports and fitness zones, including a main stage, a Technogym gym, a children's zone, martial arts, a boxing ring, yoga, padel courts, a cricket zone and an aqua park.
  • RTA Mushrif Park Cycle Centre: 136 guided group bike rides on mountain-bike trails, road routes and pump tracks, with free bikes.
  • Run and Ride Central at One Central: more than 600 free classes and the bib collection point for Dubai Ride and Dubai Run.

There were 26 Community Fitness Hubs, from Hatta Wadi Hub to DIFC, Dubai Hills Mall and Bluewaters.

2022: Kite Beach and Al Khawaneej

Only two villages this year:

  • DP World Fitness Village at Kite Beach: 15 fitness zones and hundreds of classes, from aerobics and boxing to football, yoga and rowing, plus a cricket arena and a padel court.
  • RTA Last Exit Al Khawaneej Fitness Village: five fitness zones, with free ladies-only classes, group classes and children's classes, and the food trucks of Last Exit next door.

There were 12 Fitness Hubs, including Dubai Silicon Oasis, Hatta Wadi Hub, Dubai Design District, Zabeel Ladies Club and DIFC.

2021: Kite Beach, Mushrif Park and Expo 2020

  • DP World Fitness Village at Kite Beach: 15 sports zones for HIIT, yoga, cycling and water sports, a ladies-only zone, a kids' zone, a padel arena and suspension yoga.
  • Mai Dubai Fitness Village at Mushrif Park: six zones, from pools to a gym with trainers and a kids' obstacle course.
  • Expo 2020 Dubai Fitness Village: a 5,400 square metre site beside the Mobility Gate, with a gym, a five-a-side pitch, a multi-purpose court and a stage with daily classes.

There were 14 Fitness Hubs, including Zabeel Ladies Club, Hatta, Dubai Media City, DIFC and La Mer.

Community Fitness Hubs

Hubs are the smaller, local version of a village: free sessions at malls, business districts, clubs and beaches, often every day of the challenge. Dubai has confirmed more than 23 for 2026, but has not listed them yet. The number has grown over the years:

How to Make the Most of a Fitness Village

Do

  • Go on a weekday evening for shorter queues and easier court bookings
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and a towel
  • Check the class schedule once the calendar is published
  • Combine your visit with Dubai Ride or Dubai Run bib collection at Zabeel Park
  • Count your visit towards your 30 minutes a day

Don't

  • Assume last year's locations will repeat before Dubai confirms them
  • Leave bib collection to the last weekend
  • Pay anyone for entry: the villages are free

Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026

The Fitness Villages are part of Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026, which will run from 31 October to 29 November. The challenge's four big free events will be Dubai Ride on 1 November, Dubai Stand Up Paddle at Hatta Dam on 7 and 8 November, Dubai Run on 22 November and Dubai Yoga on 29 November.
