Fitness Hubs in Al Quoz and Al Barsha
Al Quoz has three hubs and Al Barsha has one, and they range from a climbing wall to family workouts at a mall.
1. AllSports Arena, Al Quoz
AllSports Arena is a big indoor sports centre in Al Quoz 1. From Monday 2 November, coaches will run free climbing, HYROX, squash and swimming sessions there every day. Pick this hub if you want to learn a real sport, not just follow a class.
The main sessions are for teenagers and adults. Children from age 6 can join the Learn to Climb class. You book by email, so write to the arena a few days before you want to go.
2. HyperFit360 Pac-Man, Al Quoz
HyperFit360 is a workout inside the Chaos Karts arena in Al Quoz. Pictures move across the walls and floor, and the game reacts to the way you move. In the Pac-Man game, you run around the room to steer your character.
It is great fun for a group of friends, or for a family with children aged 12 and over. The weekend sessions finish at noon, so go on a weekday if you can. You must register first on hyperfit360.com.
3. The Good Form at Q East, Al Quoz
The Good Form is confirmed for 16 to 22 November, but its booking link is not out yet. Q East is a lifestyle space by Alphabeta in Al Quoz. For one week, it will fill with classes, clubs and wellness shops.
This hub is a good pick for a parent and child. The programme includes Family Move & Play, Family Dance and Mother & Daughter Pilates. Open the hub page again a few days before 16 November to book.
4. B1 Mall, Al Barsha
B1 Mall will run free evening workouts and family activities for the last two weeks of the challenge. Everyone can join, whatever their age.
It works well after school. Bring the children at 6pm, and you can all do your 30 minutes before dinner. Book a session with the button on the hub page, or call the mall on +971 56 685 4302.
Fitness Hubs in Bur Dubai, Oud Metha, Al Jaddaf and Mina Rashid
Old Dubai has five hubs, and only the sailing hub is open all month.
5. Anytime Fitness Bur Dubai Metro
Anytime Fitness is a gym chain, and its Bur Dubai Metro branch becomes a hub for the last full week of the challenge. You get free gym sessions and group workouts, so it is an easy way to try a gym before you join one.
Beginners are welcome here. Book with the button on the hub page, or call the gym on +971 55 573 1261.
6. Anytime Fitness Lamcy, Oud Metha
The Lamcy branch of Anytime Fitness opens as a hub in the second week. Like the other Anytime Fitness hubs, it has group workouts for every level, so you do not need any gym experience.
Book with the button on the hub page, or call the gym on +971 52 524 6292.
7. Mohammed bin Rashid Library, Al Jaddaf
The library hub is confirmed for 9 to 21 November, but its booking link is not out yet. The Mohammed bin Rashid Library is the big library on Dubai Creek that is shaped like an open book. For 12 days, it will host yoga, sunset cycling, health talks and a Longevity & Recovery Area.
There will also be a Health Market with wellness and food stalls, and a children's area is planned. Check the hub page before 9 November, or call +971 56 147 7316.
8. TopSpin Sports Centre, Al Jaddaf
TopSpin is a tennis and padel centre in Al Jaddaf. For one week, its coaches will teach tennis and padel for free to adults, families and complete beginners.
Children can start from age 4. There is also tennis coaching for people of determination. Book by phone or WhatsApp on +971 50 303 8195. The official pages give two closing times, so read the note at the end of this page before you go.
9. Wind Rises Sailing, Mina Rashid
This is the most unusual hub on the list. You will sail a real racing yacht for 90 minutes, with professional instructors on board. Pulling the ropes and keeping your balance is the workout, and you do not need any sailing experience.
The boats leave from P&O Marinas at Mina Rashid. The hub page says you must book but does not say how, so use the contact shown on that page.
Fitness Hubs in Business Bay and DIFC
Both hubs in the business district are open all month, so you can train before or after the office.
10. Danube Sports World, Business Bay
Danube Sports World is an indoor, air-conditioned sports centre. More than eight sports share one roof, from padel, tennis and badminton to indoor cricket, football and even skiing.
It also runs weekly sports socials and gives away prizes such as free court bookings. It is for adults only. Call 800 3636 to book.

Gate Avenue is the shopping walk on the podium level of DIFC. Every day of the challenge, a different DIFC fitness studio will lead a class there. Two special series, the PULSE SERIES and Yoga Under The Gate, add bigger sessions.

These three hubs are very different. You get an evening gym, a children's swimming week and a park for the whole family.
12. METROFITT Business Village, Deira
METROFITT is a gym in Business Village, Deira. Every evening, its instructors will lead group classes, functional training and fitness challenges. The classes suit beginners and people who already train.

13. Grand Hyatt Waterpark, Garhoud
This hub is for children. Kids aged 5 and over will get free swimming lessons in the Wave Pool at the Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark. Beginners are welcome, and so are children who can already swim a little. Everyone also learns basic water safety.
Places are few. There are two sessions each morning, with up to 20 children in each. The weekday sessions clash with school, so Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November are the easiest days for most families. Email info.grandhyattdubaiwaterpark@hyatt.com early to book. Parking is available.
14. Wasl Village, Al Qusais
Wasl Village is a Wasl community in Al Qusais, and its hub is open in the first week only. It has free group classes, gentle yoga and Pilates, and a children's session every day with dance and games. Walking and rolling tracks make it easy for people with limited mobility.

The IFZA hub is confirmed for the whole month, but its booking link is not out yet. IFZA is a free zone, and its hub at IFZA HQ has one of the widest programmes in the city. You can choose yoga, Pilates, HIIT, boxing or dance, or slow down with breathwork, meditation and sound healing.
Some sessions are indoors and some are outside. There is healthy food and drink on site. The main programme is for adults, but families can join some sessions, such as family yoga and kids' dance.

Four hubs are by the sea, and two of them are open all month.

Children from age 8 can join with a parent or guardian. You can book ahead, but walk-ins are welcome. The hub page also mentions equipment rental, so ask whether your session includes the board or kayak. The hub closes on Friday 6 November.
18. Bluewaters x SQUATWOLF, Bluewaters
This waterfront hub is called the Floating Fitness Edition. Every evening, you can join cycling, Pilates, strength, mobility or recovery sessions with Ain Dubai behind you. SQUATWOLF, the Dubai gymwear brand, runs it.

19. West Beach x Wellfit and Boxica, Palm Jumeirah
Palm West Beach has two outdoor hubs side by side. Wellfit runs big group workouts for about 30 people. Boxica runs small groups of about six, so you get more help from the coach.

These three hubs are close to each other on the Marina side of Dubai, and JLT and Topgolf run in the same week.
21. JLT Park, Jumeirah Lakes Towers
JLT Park will become a family hub for one week. There will be sports and fitness classes every day, games for children and competitions with prizes. Ramps run through the park, so it works for buggies and wheelchairs.

Which Hub Is Open When?
Fifteen hubs are open for all or most of the month, and 19 open for one or two weeks only. This chart shows which hub is open in which week. Tap a name to jump to that hub.
The long bar at the top stands for the hubs you can visit on any day. Each short bar is a hub that runs for a week or two, so pick the ones that fall in a week you are free.
How Do Dubai Fitness Challenge Fitness Hubs Work?
Every hub is free, but each one runs its own sessions and its own booking. Hubs have no single booking site, unlike the courts at the Fitness Villages. Each hub's page on the Dubai Fitness Challenge website shows its dates and ages. Its "View schedule" button opens the timetable.
How to Book a Session at a Hub
The hubs take bookings in six different ways. This chart shows which hub uses which.
Here is what to do for each kind of hub:
- Walk-in hubs: arrive during the opening hours.
- Button hubs: open the hub page on dubaifitnesschallenge.com and press the booking button.
- Website, phone or email hubs: use the contact on the hub's card above.
- Link not out yet: open the hub page again a few days before the hub opens.
Book the one-week hubs early
Hubs with small groups fill first. Topgolf takes 10 people a session, Boxica about six and the Grand Hyatt swimming lessons 20 children. If a session matters to you, book as soon as the link appears.
Which Hubs Suit Children
About 20 hubs accept children, but each one has its own age limit. Some hubs are for adults only.
For young children, the best choices are Gate Avenue and TopSpin, from age 4, and the Grand Hyatt swimming lessons, from age 5. The park hubs at JLT Park, Wasl Gate and Tilal Al Ghaf are open to all ages.
Hubs Before and After Work
If you can only train around office hours, look for a hub that opens early or closes late.
What to Bring to a Hub
Pack these before you go:
- Sportswear and trainers, or swimwear for the pool and water hubs
- A refillable water bottle and a small towel
- Your booking confirmation, if the hub needs a booking
- Sun cream and a hat for beach, park and Hatta hubs in the daytime
Fitness Hubs and Fitness Villages
A Fitness Village is a large site with many zones and bookable courts, open every day of the challenge. A hub is smaller, and one venue runs it. Our Kite Beach Fitness Village guide shows what you can do at the biggest village, and our Dubai Fitness Villages guide covers Kite Beach, Zabeel Park and Al Warqa'a Park.
Where the Official Hub Pages Disagree
Four hub pages say different things in different places on the official site. In each case, confirm with the hub before you go:
- TopSpin Sports Centre: the What's On listing shows 8am to 7pm, but the hub page gives tennis and padel times of 8am to 5pm.
- Rixos The Palm Dubai: the hub page says "five days", but the dates it gives, 14 to 16 November, make three days.
- HyperFit360: the hub page says the free workout lasts 60 minutes in one place and 45 minutes in another.
- Dubai Science Park: the hub page takes its dates, 21 to 29 November, from a factsheet, so check the page again closer to the time.
