Trick or treating in Dubai on Saturday 31 October 2026 will happen mainly door to door in villa communities such as The Springs, The Meadows, Arabian Ranches and Green Community, from about 5pm. Wafi City will run a free sticker-passport trick-or-treat from 30 October to 1 November, and Legoland's Brick-or-Treat candy trail is running until 2 November, included in the park ticket.
Three places in Dubai have confirmed trick-or-treat trails for Halloween 2026 so far: Wafi City, Legoland and Al Barari. Radisson RED, House of Hype and Ski Dubai have also added trick or treating to their Halloween events. In villa communities such as The Springs, The Meadows and Arabian Ranches, residents are expected to go door to door on Saturday 31 October, as they do every year.
Trick or Treating in Dubai 2026
In this guide you'll find the 10 best places to take your children trick or treating in Dubai.
Six are organised trails and events, and four are villa communities where children go door to door.
After that, you'll find more places grouped by type, the best time to go out, and how to trick or treat politely and safely.
Our top pick is Wafi City, because it is free and works like real trick or treating.
1. Frightfully Fun Halloween, Wafi City
Wafi City will hold a free Halloween trick-or-treat over three days. This is the closest thing to real trick or treating that you'll find in a Dubai mall. Each child gets a passport card. They take it from shop to shop, and every shop that is taking part gives them a sticker and a sweet. Some of the stops are in Khan Murjan Souk, the market inside the mall. When the card is full, your child can enter a prize draw.
Saturday will be the busiest day. If you want shorter queues, go on Friday evening or on Sunday.
2. Brick-or-Treat Candy Trail, Legoland Dubai
Legoland is running a candy trail for Halloween, and it is included in the normal park ticket. Children get an activity card that leads them around the park, and they collect free sweets at each stop on the way. The sweets are from Haribo.
The park has other Halloween activities too, such as a pumpkin patch made of LEGO, a ghost hunt and a monster film. Nothing is scary, so the trail works well for toddlers. If you buy your ticket online, you will save AED 35 per person.
3. Spooktacular Al Barari, Al Barari Playground
Al Barari Playground will hold a three-day Halloween festival in its gardens. Children will get a passport with space for four stamps. They get a stamp each time they finish an activity, such as face painting, pumpkin painting or a craft. With four stamps, they can swap the passport for a gift at the trick-or-treat booth.
Popcorn and candy floss are free. You can't bring your own food, and tickets can't be refunded, so plan to eat there.
4. Family Fun Fest, Radisson RED, Dubai Silicon Oasis
Radisson RED will hold a Halloween afternoon for families in its garden. For AED 50, your child will get a kids' meal and trick or treating. The adult ticket isn't an extra cost, because you get the full amount back to spend on food and drink.
This is the closest organised trick-or-treat for families who live in Mirdif, Academic City or Sharjah.
5. The Twilight Spectacle, House of Hype, Dubai Mall
House of Hype is an indoor attraction with 25 themed rooms, and it is decorated for Halloween until 1 November. Instead of knocking on doors, children find treats and small gifts hidden in the rooms as they walk through. It is colourful rather than frightening.
From 30 October to 1 November, nine people a day will win a prize for their costume. The prizes are worth up to AED 10,000.
6. Frightober at Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates
Frightober is Ski Dubai's Halloween season. Part of the snow park has been turned into a ghost town, and actors jump out to scare visitors as they walk through. The pass includes entry to the ghost town, a bag of sweets, a hot chocolate, gloves and a locker.
Because of the scares, this one is for older children and teenagers, not for toddlers.
7. The Springs, The Meadows and The Lakes
Children have trick-or-treated in The Springs and The Meadows for more than ten years, and these are still the busiest communities for it in Dubai. The streets are quiet and safe for walking, and many families decorate their doors and gardens.
There is no event to sign up for. If you don't live here, go with a friend who does, because security staff may stop visitors at some gates.
8. Arabian Ranches
Arabian Ranches is known for its Halloween decorations. Some streets put up lights, cobwebs and skeletons across whole rows of villas. Both Ranches 1 and 2 have had trick or treating for many years, and the community has also held its own Halloween nights in the past.
To find out if there will be a community event in 2026, ask in your residents' WhatsApp or Facebook group.
9. Green Community, Dubai Investments Park
Green Community is the place for spooky houses. Some residents decorate their villas with graves, ghosts and scary lighting. Last year, one family said that more than 200 children and adults visited their house in one evening.
The popular streets get crowded after dark, so it is better to arrive before 6pm.
10. DAMAC Hills 2
DAMAC Hills 2 is a newer community, and trick or treating has become popular there quickly. Families from many different countries decorate their homes and hand out sweets, so children of all backgrounds join in.
Does Dubai Do Trick or Treating?
Yes. Residents organise it themselves; it isn't a city event. In villa communities where many families live, children walk from house to house on Halloween evening. Families who want trick-or-treaters decorate their doors, and children only knock at those houses. In some apartment buildings, neighbours arrange it floor by floor in the building's WhatsApp group.
If your community doesn't take part, an organised trail is the easiest option. Shops or stalls along a set route give your child a sweet at each stop.
Check your residents' group to see which clusters will take part this year.
Do you live somewhere else? Ask in your community's WhatsApp or Facebook group about a week before Halloween. Other neighbourhoods may have a few streets that take part, and residents sometimes share a list of houses.

In past years, JLT Park, Times Square Center and Al Ghurair Centre held free trick-or-treat events. None of them has announced one for 2026 yet. We will add them here if they do.
