Halloween Events for Kids in Downtown Dubai, City Walk and Jumeirah

Three events are in the centre of the city. One is free, one costs AED 20 for a child, and one is the only place to trick or treat at Dubai Mall.

1. The Twilight Spectacle, House of Hype, Dubai Mall

House of Hype is an indoor attraction on Level 1 of The Dubai Mall, with 25 themed rooms to walk through. For Halloween it adds a parade, themed food and trick-or-treat stops, where children collect treats and look for hidden giveaways. The venue calls it spectacular more than scary. It is the only place to trick or treat at Dubai Mall announced so far.

  • When: Every day from 15 October to 1 November, 10am to 10pm. First entry is at 11am and last entry at 8.30pm. A costume competition runs from 30 October to 1 November.
  • Price: From AED 149 per person. No child price is listed. A family pass for four at AED 449 and free entry for children aged 3 and under have been reported, so look for them at checkout.
  • Ages: No age limit is listed. It is designed for families.
  • Book: The Twilight Spectacle page, then press "Book via Fever". Fever is the ticket seller.

2. City Walk Halloween Run, City Walk

Your child runs through City Walk in costume on Halloween evening and gets a medal at the finish. There is a 2.5 km family run and a 5 km run, and both are timed. At AED 20 for a child, it is the cheapest ticket on this page. Three prizes go to the best costumes.

  • When: Saturday 31 October at 6.30pm, from the junction of Al Wasl Road and Al Safa Road. The end time is reported as 8pm.
  • Price: AED 20 for a child under 12, AED 55 for an adult. A child under 12 must run with a registered adult, so one parent and one child pay AED 75.
  • Ages: All ages and all fitness levels. The costume must be safe to run in.
  • Book: City Walk Halloween Run page, then press "Register now". It takes you to the registration site, fitze.ae.

3. Family and Pet Costume Competition, Stomping Grounds, Jumeirah 1

Stomping Grounds is a café in a villa in Jumeirah 1. On Halloween it holds a costume competition for families and their pets, so your pet can dress up too. It is the only free event for children announced so far. You pay only for what you eat.

  • When: Saturday 31 October, 9am to 9pm, at Villa 98, 12D Street. No judging time is listed.
  • Price: Free to attend. Dishes on the Halloween menu cost about AED 100.
  • Ages: No age rule is listed. Pets are welcome.
  • Book: No booking is mentioned. Ask the café for the judging time before you go, or check the Stomping Grounds website.

Halloween Events for Kids in Al Quoz and Al Barsha

Al Quoz is where the indoor play areas are, so start here if your children are small. The toddlers' party on 18 October is made for ages 1 to 3. Ski Dubai, in Al Barsha, is for older children who enjoy a scare.

4. Toddlers Halloween Party, Gogo Village, Al Quoz

This is a two-hour morning party in an indoor playground on Umm Suqeim Street. Your toddler meets a skeleton mascot, dances, tries sensory play and has a photo taken in costume. It is the only event on this page made for ages 1 to 3, and parents stay with their child.

  • When: Sunday 18 October, 10am to 12pm.
  • Price: From AED 120 per child. No adult price is listed.
  • Ages: 1 to 3 years. Children and parents must wear socks, and reception sells them.
  • Book: Toddlers' party page on Platinumlist. Tickets cannot be cancelled or changed.

5. Kids Halloween Party, Gogo Village, Al Quoz

A week later, the same playground holds a three-hour afternoon party for older children. They meet a Frankenstein character, and there is house painting, a game and face painting. A gift goes to the best costume, so this one suits a child who loves to dress up.

  • When: Sunday 25 October, 4pm to 7pm.
  • Price: From AED 150 per child. No adult price is listed.
  • Ages: 4 to 10 years.
  • Book: Kids' party page on Platinumlist. There is parking on site. By Metro, go to Equiti or Mall of the Emirates station, then take a taxi for 5 to 10 minutes.

6. Halloween Month and Spooky Camp, Black Bunny, Al Quoz

Black Bunny is a play venue in the Al Ghurair Warehouse Complex, and it is decorated for Halloween all month. Children carry a "Spooky Passport" and collect a stamp for each of 10 challenges. In the school break there is also a Spooky Camp, with slime making, crafts, trampolines and bowling.

  • When: 1 to 31 October, with a Halloween Carnival on Saturday 31 October. The camp runs from 12 to 18 October, 10am to 2pm.
  • Price: Entry from AED 179. One camp day is AED 179, or AED 209 with meals. Five camp days are AED 849, or AED 999 with meals.
  • Ages: No ages are listed, so ask when you call.
  • Book: By phone, on 04 824 3088. Ask: "What is the entry price for a child on 31 October, and what ages is the carnival for?"

7. Halloween Playground, Lala Little Wonders, Al Quoz

Lala Little Wonders is an indoor playground on Sheikh Zayed Road with a Halloween theme. Children dress up for costume play, take the "Boo Ride", watch a stage show every hour and try the mini-games. For an extra fee, they can make a candle or their own trick-or-treat bag in a workshop.

  • When: 12 to 18 October and 30 October to 1 November. One report says it opens on 13 October, so check the dates first. Hours are 9am to 8pm from Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 9pm from Friday to Sunday.
  • Price: From AED 120 for two hours on weekdays, and from AED 160 for a full day at the weekend. Workshops cost from AED 45.
  • Ages: No ages are listed.
  • Book: Send a WhatsApp message to 056 911 0033, or message @lalalittlewonders on Instagram.

8. Frightober, Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates

Ski Dubai builds a "Snowy Ghost Town" inside its indoor snow park. Your child walks through darkness and fog, with loud sounds, sudden scares and actors who do not touch guests. This one is for older children who enjoy a scare, not for small or nervous ones. The pass comes with a trick-or-treat pouch, hot chocolate, gloves and a locker.

  • When: 9 to 31 October, with the Halloween Party on Saturday 31 October. No times are listed.
  • Price: AED 125 for the Frightober Pass with Halloween Party, or AED 460 for a group of four. The Snow Pass with the party adds snow park rides and costs AED 290.
  • Ages: 7 and over for the ghost town. The Snow Pass pages say children under 12 are not allowed, so check the rule for your pass before you pay.
  • Book: Frightober Pass with Halloween Party page on Ski Dubai's website. All sales are final.

Halloween Events for Kids in Emirates Hills, The Lakes, Palm Jumeirah and JBR

This side of the city has the pumpkin patch and four family meals. Two of the brunches have a date that is not settled yet, and you will see which two below.

9. Pumpkin Patch, The Garden Project, Address Montgomerie, Emirates Hills

Children choose a pumpkin from the patch, then paint and decorate it. There is no carving. Afterwards they can jump on a large bouncy castle, go down an inflatable slide and play in a ball pit, all from Daley Bounce. There is face painting and live music too. It is the only patch in Dubai with real pumpkins this year.

  • When: Every day from 23 to 31 October, 12pm to 8pm.
  • Price: AED 150 per pumpkin. That covers one pumpkin for one child, the painting, one drink and the patch activities. One adult helper may come with each child. It is not clear if the helper pays.
  • Ages: No ages are listed.
  • Book: Only one news site has reported this patch, and it gives no booking link. Pumpkins and places are limited each day. Call Address Montgomerie on +971 4 390 5600 and ask for The Garden Project. Ask: "Is the pumpkin patch on from 23 to 31 October, and how do I book a place?"

10. Halloween Breakfast with Magic Show, Reform Social & Grill, The Lakes

Children come to breakfast in costume at The Lakes Club, eat from the buffet and then watch a Halloween magic show by Adrian Hurley. It is the only morning event with a show, and the early start suits young children.

  • Price: AED 99 per child and AED 125 per adult, with breakfast and the show.
  • Ages: No age band is listed for the child price.
  • Book: Press "Book Now" on the Reform Social & Grill website. You can also call +971 4 454 2638 or send a WhatsApp message to +971 58 647 8692.

  • Ages: All ages. The child prices stop at age 12.

12. Halloween Carnival Brunch, Palm Kitchen, Taj Exotica, Palm Jumeirah

  • When: Friday 30 October in one report. Saturday 31 October, 1pm to 4pm, in another. The hotel has no page for the brunch yet.
  • Price: AED 140 for the kids' package in both reports. One says this is for ages 6 to 12, and that children under 6 are free. For adults, AED 206 with soft drinks has been reported.
  • Ages: All ages.
  • Book: Call +971 4 275 4444 or write to restaurants.exoticadubai@tajhotels.com. Ask: "Is the Halloween brunch on Friday 30 or Saturday 31 October, and what is the child price?"

13. Halloween Brunch, Pepe Cucina, Address Beach Resort, JBR

Pepe Cucina serves an Italian sharing brunch with a DJ. While the adults eat, children have a play corner with Halloween face painting and arts and crafts. A child's place costs AED 75. The date is not settled here either, so ask before you go.

  • When: Friday 30 October, 1pm to 5pm, in one report. Saturday 31 October at the same time in another. The restaurant's own page does not list the brunch yet.
  • Price: AED 75 per child, and AED 250 per adult with soft drinks. One report says the child price is for under 12. The other says ages 4 to 12, with under 4 free.
  • Ages: All ages.
  • Book: Call +971 4 879 8866, or press "Reserve a Table" on the Pepe Cucina page. Ask which day the Halloween brunch is on.

Halloween Events for Kids in Dubai Hills, JVC, DAMAC Hills and Dubai Silicon Oasis

These communities are further from the coast, and they have five events between them. Dubai Silicon Oasis has the cheapest ticket with trick or treating, at AED 50 per child.

14. Kids' Spooky Pizza-Making, Osteria Mario, Dubai Hills Mall, Circle Mall and Festival City Mall

Here the children do the cooking. Each child makes a pizza, drinks a "spooky" milkshake and gets face paint to match the costume. The session is for children only, so adults do not take part and do not pay. It runs at three branches: Dubai Hills Mall, Circle Mall in JVC and Dubai Festival City Mall.

  • When: Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, from 5.30pm.

16. Halloween Brunch, FireLake Grill House, Radisson Hotel DAMAC Hills

FireLake Grill House is at the Radisson Hotel in DAMAC Hills, and its Halloween brunch gives children plenty to do. There are films, games, arts and crafts, live music and prizes for the best costumes. An adult pays AED 179 here, which is less than at the other hotel brunches on this page.

  • When: Saturday 31 October, 1pm to 4pm.

18. Spinneys Family Halloween Run, Dubai Silicon Oasis

This is an early morning fun run for the whole family in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Each entry includes a medal, a certificate, a snack, refreshments and a Spinneys shirt. The fee and the distances are not listed yet, so read the registration page before you promise the children.

  • When: Saturday 31 October, with the start at 7.30am. Registration closes at 6.30am that day, or earlier if the places sell out.
  • Price: Not listed yet. Look for "Categories & Fees" on the registration page.
  • Ages: Not listed.
  • Book: Spinneys Family Run registration page. Read the fee and the course map before you pay.

Halloween Events for Kids at Dubai Parks and Resorts: Legoland and Motiongate

Dubai Parks and Resorts is on Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Palm Jebel Ali. It reopened on 7 October 2026. Legoland is the one for young children. Motiongate's Halloween event is made to frighten.

19. Halloween at Legoland Dubai

Legoland's Halloween is already running, and the park's own FAQ says it is not scary. Children follow a candy trail for free sweets, build a LEGO pumpkin and hunt for ghosts in Miniland. They can also watch a 4D film and three shows. All of it is included in a day ticket. A costume is welcome, and you do not need one.

  • When: Selected dates from 7 October to 2 November. Opening hours change from day to day, so check the hours for your date.
  • Price: AED 295 online and AED 330 at the gate. No separate child price is listed.
  • Ages: The park is aimed at ages 2 to 12. Some rides have a height limit: 120 cm for The Dragon, and 105 cm for two smaller rides.
  • Book: Buy a day ticket online from the Halloween at Legoland Dubai page. It is AED 35 cheaper than at the gate.

20. Fright Nights IX, Motiongate Dubai

Fright Nights is on this list as a warning. It is a scare event, with no family programme announced for 2026. The two experiences named so far are based on the horror films SAW and The Strangers. In 2025 the park also had family Halloween fun in the daytime, but that was 2025.

  • When: 7 October to 8 November. The days of the week and the times are not listed.
  • Price: Park tickets start from AED 295. No separate Fright Nights ticket is listed.
  • Ages: No age rule is listed. Do not take a young child until the park gives one.
  • Book: Day tickets are on the Motiongate day ticket page. The park's Fright Nights page still shows the 2025 event, so ask about ages before you buy.

How to Choose a Halloween Event for Your Kids in Dubai: Price, Age and Date

So which one? Three things usually decide it: the price, your child's age and the day you are free.

Let's start with the price. Here is the lowest price for one child at each event:

Halloween events for kids in Dubai: price for one child
Lowest published price, in dirhams. The adult price is extra.

Remember that a parent pays too at most events. At the City Walk run, one adult and one child pay AED 75. At a hotel brunch, the adult price is the bigger part of the bill.

Next, age. Only a few events give an age rule, so use these three questions:

Which Halloween event fits your child's age?

Halloween Events for Kids in Dubai Still to Be Announced for 2026

Some well-known family events ran in 2025 and have no 2026 date yet. Every detail below is from 2025, so do not plan around these prices or dates. Last year, most of them were announced in the last week of October.

  • The Haunted Garden, Al Barari. In 2025 it ran from 31 October to 2 November, from 3pm to 9pm, at AED 149 per person. Al Barari Playground's page now shows 31 October, 1 and 2 November with no year, and a Haunted House at AED 59. No Halloween ticket is on sale on Platinumlist yet, so wait until one is.
  • OliOli, Al Quoz. Its Halloween page shows "30th October to 2nd November" with no year, included in tickets from AED 139 for one child and one adult. The pictures are from 2025. Check olioli.ae.
  • The Green Planet, City Walk. In 2025 the Haunted Rainforest ran from 28 October to 3 November at AED 139 for residents. Its website has nothing for 2026 yet.
  • Motiongate's daytime family Halloween. In 2025 there were trick-or-treating characters in the daytime. The 2026 family line-up is not announced.
  • KidZania, Dubai Mall. Nothing for Halloween 2026 is on its home page.
  • Hotel family brunches. In 2025, Liwan at Swissôtel Al Ghurair charged AED 75 per child, Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate AED 95, En Fuego at Atlantis AED 120 and Giardino at Palazzo Versace AED 190. None has a 2026 date yet.
  • Global Village. Season 31 opens on Wednesday 14 October 2026. No Halloween programme is announced.

What should you do now? Open the venue's own website and its Instagram account once from 20 October and once from 27 October. Search the venue name with "Halloween 2026", and read the date on anything you find.

Free Halloween Events for Kids in Dubai: One So Far, Five to Watch

Looking for a free Halloween party in Dubai for kids? There is one so far. It is the family and pet costume competition at Stomping Grounds in Jumeirah 1, on Saturday 31 October from 9am to 9pm (number 3 above).

Two more are cheap. The City Walk Halloween Run costs AED 20 per child, and Radisson RED costs AED 50 per child with a meal and trick or treating.

These five events were free in 2025. None has been announced for 2026 yet:

  • Once Upon a Pumpkin, Times Square Center, Sheikh Zayed Road (2025). It ran from 31 October to 2 November 2025, from noon to 7pm, with shows, crafts, face painting and trick or treating at the shops. It has run in most years, so check the mall's website and Instagram account from 20 October.

Trick or Treating in Dubai for Kids: How It Works and How to Join

Trick or treating in Dubai is arranged by residents, not by the city or the developer. There is no public event to join. Neighbours decorate their own homes, and children visit only those homes in the early evening.

No community manager has announced trick or treating for 2026 yet. So here is what past years, and this year's reports, tell us:

  • The Springs, The Meadows and Arabian Ranches. In 2016, The National wrote that families went there between 4pm and 7pm on 31 October. One parent said they rang only at houses with decorations or a Halloween sticker. That report is ten years old, so use it only to understand how the evening works.
  • Green Community, Dubai Investment Park. Gulf News wrote that villas there were decorated for Halloween 2025, and that children went trick-or-treating.
  • Friends and neighbours. A family blog, updated in October 2026, says parents usually arrange trick or treating with friends. Children knock only at the homes of people they know who are taking part.
  • One report for 2026, not verified. A blog names Arabian Ranches 2, The Springs and Jumeirah Golf Estates, from 5.30pm to 8pm on Saturday 31 October. It says the villas taking part show orange ribbons or carved pumpkins at the gate. No community manager or newspaper has said the same.

What about trick or treating in Dubai Hills? Nothing has been announced or reported for that community, so ask its residents' group before you plan around it.

How to join trick or treating in your community

You do not need an invitation from an organiser. You need to find out what your own neighbours are doing. Do these four things this week:

  1. Ask in your community's residents' group. Most communities and towers have a WhatsApp or Facebook group. Post: "Is there trick or treating this year? Is there a list or map of homes taking part, and what time does it start?"
  2. Ask the community management office. Ask if residents have registered a Halloween activity, and if there are rules for visitors. In a tower, ask the building's security desk or check the community portal.
  3. Put your name on the sign-up list. If your group keeps a list of homes that give sweets, add your home, or note which streets are taking part.
  4. Go only to decorated or listed homes. Go in the early evening on Saturday 31 October. Do not ring at a home with no decoration, and stay with your children.

Here are the same four steps to save:

Pumpkin Patches and Pumpkin Carving in Dubai for Halloween 2026

There are two pumpkin patches for 2026, and only one has real pumpkins.

  • The real one is at The Garden Project, Address Montgomerie, from 23 to 31 October. It costs AED 150 per pumpkin, and children paint the pumpkin. It is number 9 above.
  • The LEGO one is Scarecrow's Pumpkin Patch at Legoland Dubai, where children build a pumpkin from bricks. It is included in the day ticket. It is number 19 above.

No pumpkin carving event has been announced for 2026. Al Barari's page lists pumpkin carving among workshops from AED 60, but it shows no year. Al Habtoor Polo Resort had carving at its free film night in 2025.

Do you want to carve at home? A local family blog says Spinneys, Lulu, Waitrose and the online shop Kibsons sell whole pumpkins. It gives no prices.
