Halloween in Sharjah 2026
In this guide you'll find every Halloween event in Sharjah that we could confirm, with the date, the price and how to book, and which one we would choose. After that, you'll find the closest events in Dubai, what you can wear, and what Sharjah hasn't announced yet.
On 21 October 2026 we checked every Sharjah mall, hotel and play centre we could find, on their websites and social media. Only the events below had 2026 details.
Does Sharjah Celebrate Halloween?
Yes, but on a small scale, and mostly for children. Halloween events in Sharjah take place in malls and play centres, not in hotels or bars. Sharjah doesn't allow alcohol, so there are no drinks packages or late-night parties. Sharjah also has decency rules about clothing, and these apply to costumes too.
This makes Sharjah a good place for families with young children: the events are short, indoors and alcohol-free. Teenagers and adults who want a bigger night usually go to Dubai, where Garhoud and Silicon Oasis are a short drive away outside rush hour.
Halloween Events for Kids in Sharjah
Both children's events will take place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, a week before Halloween. That means you can go to one in Sharjah and still keep 31 October free.
1. Spooky Safari at Safari Mall, Muwaileh
Safari Mall in Muwaileh will hold a two-day Halloween event for children called Spooky Safari. The main event will be a costume contest, with AED 1,000 for the winner and AED 500 for second place. That's a bigger prize than most children's costume contests in Dubai. Between the shows, children can join workshops, paint on canvas and play games with people dressed as Halloween characters.
The mall hasn't put the times or the entry price online, so call the registration number before you go. Ask three things: what time the costume contest will be judged, whether entry is free, and which ages can take part.
2. Spooky Scary Halloween Party at Flipped Popup, Sahara Centre
Flipped Popup is an indoor play centre in Sahara Centre. For AED 99, it will hold a four-hour Halloween party where every activity is included, from a magic show and carnival games to a scavenger hunt. Each child will also take home a goody bag.
Everything happens indoors, so the heat won't matter. Children can come in costume. Sahara Centre is in Al Nahda, on the Dubai border, so it's also easy to reach from Al Qusais and Muhaisnah.
Our pick: choose Flipped Popup if you want a ticketed party where everything is included and you know the cost in advance. Choose Safari Mall if your child has a costume worth showing off, because AED 1,000 is a big prize. Both run on the same days, so you could go to both.
We also found a "Fairy Tale Halloween" event at an office in Al Husn Tower on 30 October. It includes a sales presentation for a product, so we have left it off this list.
Halloween Events for Adults in Sharjah
For adults, the big costume event in Sharjah this year will be the SACC cosplay competition at Aljada. Sharjah doesn't allow alcohol, so its hotels don't hold Halloween drinks parties, but the closest Dubai parties are only a short drive away.
3. SACC Cosplay Competition, Aljada
The Sharjah Animation and Comics Conference will hold a cosplay competition on Saturday 24 October. Cosplay means dressing up as a character from a film, comic, anime or game. It isn't a Halloween event, but it will be the best costume event in Sharjah that week, and it is for adults and teenagers too. Each cosplayer will perform on stage for 90 seconds, and the prizes add up to AED 25,000. Shop-bought costumes aren't allowed, so the costumes are usually very good.
Entries have closed. If you want to watch, buy a conference pass soon, because the organiser says most of the passes have already gone.

Halloween Events in Sharjah Not Announced Yet
Sharjah venues usually announce their Halloween plans late, and often only on social media. These ran in past years but haven't announced anything for 2026 yet:
- Cinemacity's horror double bill at Zero 6 Mall and Rahmania Mall. In 2025, it ran on 31 October and 1 November, from AED 67.
- City Centre Sharjah and City Centre Al Zahia. Neither mall has a Halloween event on its website yet.
- Trick or treating at the American University of Sharjah. This is only for people who live on the campus, not the public.
We will check these again on 28 October. We couldn't find any door-to-door trick or treating in Sharjah's communities, so many families visit friends in Dubai's villa communities instead.
