Global Village Opening Date 2026
Global Village announced the Season 31 dates on 14 September 2026, exactly one month before opening night. The park will reopen at its usual home off Sheikh Zayed Road at Exit 37, and it will come back as one of the busiest attractions on the planet. It drew a record 10.5 million visitors in 2025, and on a per-day basis it now outdraws Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Global Village is now open every day from 4pm. It closes at midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and at 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
Why the Global Village Opening Date in 2026 Is the Earliest in Years
Look at the last five seasons and a pattern appears. Global Village has opened a little earlier every single year, from 25 October in 2022 to 14 October in 2026, and this will be its fourth Wednesday opening in a row.
The bigger story is the summer break. Season 30 lost 51 days in the spring, when Global Village closed as a precaution after regional tensions escalated on 28 February 2026. It reopened on 20 April and was extended to 31 May so it could close over Eid Al Adha. That pushed the finish three weeks later than planned, yet the Season 31 date still did not move back.

So the park will have had three weeks less to rest and refit this summer than last. If you went in the final Eid weeks of Season 30, you will be back at the gates only four and a half months later.
What's New in Global Village in Season 31: New Pavilions to Come & a VIP Pack Surprise
Global Village promised "thrilling additions" for Season 31 and announced them on 8 October 2026, a week before opening. Here is what is new.
A New Season Theme: "A More Wonderful World"
Season 31 will run under the theme "A More Wonderful World", which Global Village says will bring new ways to experience the park. It will still be the same scale as last season, with 29 country pavilions covering more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 places to eat and around 200 rides and games in Carnaval.
New Pavilions, Rides and Shows
The new pavilions are Oman and Qatar, according to the official Global Village website. The new shows are Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back, a stunt show, plus Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. A new roller coaster, Tokyo Rush, opens later in the season; no date has been given. There is also a Season 31 Passport and a Kids Passport, with a stamp station at every pavilion.
You may have seen Jordan, Iraq and a joint Sri Lanka and Bangladesh pavilion listed as "new for Season 31". They are not. Those three were the new pavilions of Season 29, when they opened in October 2024 and took the park to 30 pavilions, and several sites have recycled the line from old guides.

A Story Book VIP Box With an AED 31,000 Cheque Inside
The VIP Packs are the one part of Season 31 that is fully out, and they have had the biggest makeover. Each pack will come in a collectible Global Village Story Book box with seven Season 31 pins honouring the UAE, and one pack will hide a cheque for AED 31,000, a nod to the season number.

Every pack also includes entries to the Stunt Show, Neon Galaxy X Challenge Zone and EXO Planet City, two of each in most packs and four in the Diamond. Diamond adds in-park taxi, car wash and porter vouchers. Packs also carry discounts at Dubai Parks and Resorts, Real Madrid World, Riverland, The Green Planet and Roxy Cinemas.
Mega Packs With Theme Park Passes
If you also plan to visit the theme parks, look at the two Mega Packs. The Mega Silver, at AED 3,490, includes everything in the Silver pack plus five three-month Multi-Park Seasonal Passes or seven one-day two-park tickets. The Mega Gold, at AED 4,990, includes the Gold pack plus eight seasonal passes or twelve one-day tickets.
Buy VIP Packs only from the official site
VIP Packs are sold only at coca-cola-arena.com. You will need a valid Emirates ID and your car plate number, you must be 18 or over, and there is a limit of one pack per Emirates ID, plus a AED 30 delivery fee. Global Village and Dubai Police have both warned about fake sites and social media sellers, and packs bought from them may be cancelled.
Global Village Opening Day 2026: Tickets and Tips
Opening night fell on a Wednesday, so it counted as a weekday and the AED 25 Weekday ticket was valid.
It also landed in the middle of Navratri, which ran from 11 to 19 October, and Diwali follows on Sunday 8 November, so the India pavilion is at its liveliest in these weeks.
Tips for a visit now:
- Buy tickets online at globalvillage.ae or in the official app, or at the gate
- Parking fills fast on Friday and Saturday evenings, so arrive early
- Groups of men should avoid Tuesdays, which are for families, couples and ladies, except on public holidays
- Carry your Emirates ID or passport if you are claiming free entry as a visitor over 65
