Global Village is back on Wednesday 14 October 2026, and it is too big to see in one evening. So we picked for you. Here are the 10 things you cannot miss at Global Village this season, from a new police stunt show and two new stage shows to the fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights.

The season has not opened yet, so show times and most prices for the new things are not out. We will update this list once the gates are open.

In this list you will find what is new this season, the shows and attractions worth your evening, and a short plan for your visit at the end.

1. Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back

Hyperrealistic night-time stunt show at Global Village featuring police cars chasing a drifting sports car, a dramatic explosion, a car jumping off a ramp, and a helicopter shining a spotlight over the action as spectators watch from behind safety barriers.

This is the new stunt show, and it is the one to book your evening around. It follows last season's Fast Live show, which had drifting cars, motorbike jumps and fire. This year the police join the chase. Teenagers will love it, and so will any adult who likes a good car film.

  • Cost: Not announced for the new show. The official ticket page lists stunt show seats at AED 20 (regular) and AED 50 (star seating).
  • Good to know: New this season. Seats are first come, first served, so be there 30 minutes before the show starts.

2. Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist

Bollywood-inspired dancers perform on a brightly lit stage alongside red-clad stunt performers recreating a bank heist at Global Village Dubai, with colourful lights, ornate architecture and a captivated crowd.

Two new stage shows join the stunt show. Bollywood Idol tells the story of two brothers through music and dance: one runs after fame, the other stays with his books. Bank Heist is an action show with acrobats, built around true-crime stories. Pick Bollywood Idol if you came for the songs, and Bank Heist if you came for the jumps.

  • Good to know: Both are new this season. A dance show called Slam is also back from last year, by popular demand according to Khaleej Times.

3. The Season 31 Passport and Kids Passport

Global Village Season 31 adult and kids passports held in front of a brightly illuminated entrance, with ornate arches, colorful lights, and a festive crowd at night.

Global Village sells a small passport, and every pavilion has a station that stamps it. This season the adult passport has a new design, and there is a Kids Passport for the first time. It sounds simple, and it works. A child with a stamp book wants to walk into every single pavilion, so you see far more of the park without anyone complaining.

  • Where: A stamping station in each of the 29 pavilions.
  • Cost: Price not announced yet.
  • Good to know: Start it early in the evening. Twenty-nine stamps take time.

4. The 29 pavilions

A bustling Global Village promenade at dusk, showcasing brightly illuminated cultural pavilions with diverse international architecture, ornate Asian and Middle Eastern designs, colorful market stalls, and a spectacular palace glowing in purple and gold, surrounded by visitors exploring the attractions.

The pavilions are the heart of Global Village, and your entry ticket covers all of them. Each one is a market for a country or a region, with its own building, food, music and shops. Four look different this season. Kuwait and Syria have new fronts, the Russia pavilion now includes Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka has been refreshed.

Start here if it is your first visit. Walk through three or four pavilions before you eat, and you will understand why people come back every year. The organiser's numbers for the season show the size of the place:

Global Village Season 31 in numbers
Figures from the organiser's announcement for the season.
29
pavilions, for more than 90 cultures
3,500+
shops
250+
places to eat
200+
rides and games
40,000
shows planned, approximately

You will not see all 29 in one night, so choose. The official pavilion list shows every one.

  • Cost: Included with your entry ticket.
  • Good to know: There were 30 pavilions last season and there are 29 this season.

5. Tokyo Rush

Hyperrealistic Tokyo Rush roller coaster at Global Village Dubai, racing past glowing red torii gates, illuminated Japanese pagodas, pink cherry blossoms, cascading waterfalls and neon-lit attractions, with excited riders enjoying the thrilling nighttime amusement ride.

Tokyo Rush is a new roller coaster with sharp turns, high speed and a loop. It is the biggest new ride of the season, and it is not ready yet. Global Village says it will open later in the season and has given no date. So do not plan an October visit around it. Go now for everything else, and come back for this one.

  • Where: Carnaval, the rides area.
  • Good to know: Opens later in the season. No date, price or height limit has been announced.

Shows and Attractions You Cannot Miss at Global Village

After the new things come the favourites. These five are the returning shows and attractions that fill most people's evening, and two of them need nothing more than your entry ticket.

6. Fireworks

Fireworks light up the night sky above Global Village Dubai, illuminating its colourful cultural pavilions, iconic Festival Wheel and waterfront promenade as visitors gather to watch the spectacular display.

On Fridays and Saturdays the sky over the park lights up at 9pm, with music. The show is short, about five minutes, and it is the moment the whole park stops and looks up. If you can only visit once, choose a Friday or a Saturday for this reason alone.

  • Cost: No extra ticket. Fireworks were included with entry last season.
  • Good to know: Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm, as listed on the official fireworks page. The page says timings may change without notice.

7. Gardens of the World

Gardens of the World at Global Village Dubai, featuring vibrant flower beds, illuminated floral arches, lush landscaped pathways, and miniature replicas of famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben against a colourful twilight sky.

This is a walk through flower displays and small copies of famous world landmarks. It arrived last season and returns with new design touches. It is the calm part of a loud park. Come here for photos, for a slow walk on a date, or to give small legs a rest from the crowds.

  • Where: A landscaped walk that starts at the Egypt pavilion and runs towards the China pavilion.
  • Good to know: Refreshed for this season. Go after dark, when the lights are on.

8. Festival Wheel

Festival Wheel at Global Village Dubai illuminated with vibrant blue, pink and purple lights against the night sky, surrounded by colorful carnival rides, festive string lights, and crowds of visitors enjoying the lively amusement park.

The big wheel at Carnaval has new carts this season. It is the slowest ride in the park and the best view of it. From the top you see all the pavilions lit up at once, which is why Gulf News advised readers last season to ride it after dark. Good for all ages, and good for couples.

  • Where: Carnaval, the rides area.
  • Cost: Price not announced yet. Carnaval rides are paid with points on a Wonder Pass card, not with cash at the ride.
  • Good to know: The carts are redesigned for Season 31.

9. The Dragon Kingdom

Hyperrealistic view of Dragon Kingdom at Global Village Dubai, featuring a giant illuminated red-and-gold Chinese dragon, ornate pagodas, glowing red lanterns, a traditional gateway, cascading waterfalls, and crowds exploring the vibrant Asian-themed attraction at sunset.

The Dragon Kingdom is a walk-through attraction with 11 themed rooms, and it was last season's big new thing. You move from room to room on foot, so it suits families with children who are too small or too nervous for the rides. If you want to be scared, The Horror Hotel, the park's haunted house, is also back this season.

  • Cost: AED 40 per person on the official ticket page. It is not included in the entry ticket.
  • Good to know: Returning from last season. The Horror Hotel has no published age rule, so it is one for older children and adults.

10. Kids Theatre

Children and families watch a colourful live theatre performance at Global Village Dubai, featuring costumed characters, dancers and playful storybook scenery under vibrant stage lights.

Small children get their own stage. This season the Kids Theatre has Care Bears and PJ Masks. The Care Bears show is all singing and dancing, and the PJ Masks one is a "hero training session" with Catboy, Owlette and Gekko. It is the easiest half hour of your evening: the children sit, and so do you.

  • Where: The Kids' Theatre.
  • Cost: Included with your entry ticket.
  • Good to know: For small children. Children under 3 enter Global Village free.

How to Plan Your Evening at Global Village

A little planning makes a long evening easy. Keep these four points in mind:

  • Arrive at 4pm on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The park opens at 4pm, and the first hours are the quietest. Our Global Village parking guide shows which zones are free.
  • Tuesday is for families, couples and ladies. Men on their own or in groups of men are not let in on a Tuesday, unless it is a public holiday.
  • Know what costs extra. Your entry ticket covers the pavilions, the street shows, the cultural stages and the Kids' Theatre. Rides, the stunt show and The Dragon Kingdom cost more. Rides use points on a Wonder Pass card, which starts at AED 175 for 185 points. Our Global Village tickets guide has every price.
  • Eat inside. You cannot bring your own food and drink into the park.

This list is about what to see and do. We are covering what to eat and what to buy at Global Village in separate guides.
