On opening night, Wednesday 14 October 2026, the gates open at 6pm, not 4pm.

There are four more things to know about the hours:

  • Last entry is half an hour before closing. The entry gates shut at 11:30pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and at 12:30am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
  • On a public holiday Global Village is open from 4pm to 1am, whatever day of the week it is.
  • Opening night starts later. On Wednesday 14 October 2026 the gates open at 6pm, not 4pm. You can buy tickets at the gate from that evening, and they are already on sale online on the official ticket page.
  • Ramadan hours for 2027 are not published yet. Last season Global Village opened and closed an hour later during Ramadan, so the hours may change during Ramadan this season too.

Tuesday is family day

On a normal Tuesday, Global Village is reserved for families, couples and ladies. A man on his own, or a group of men, cannot enter. A man can come with his family or as part of a couple, and women can come alone or in a group. The first Tuesday of the season is 20 October 2026.

This rule does not apply when a Tuesday is a public holiday. The ticket is the same as on other weekdays: the AED 25 Weekday ticket is valid on a Tuesday.

Global Village can change its hours without notice. So check the official plan your visit page before you leave home.

Where Is Global Village?

Global Village is on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) in Dubai. The official website does not give a street address or an exit number, so the simplest way to get there is to search "Global Village" in your maps app and follow the directions.

If you are driving, choose your car park first and get directions to that car park, because different car parks are near different gates. The official page lists every car park with a "Get Direction" link, which opens that car park in Google Maps.

Global Village has three entrance gates, and the name of each gate is on its sign:

  • Gate of the World
  • Happiness Gate
  • Cultural Gate

You can arrive by car, by taxi or by bus. Careem, Uber and RTA taxis all go there. There is no Metro station at Global Village, so the bus section below lists the buses that go there.

What's New at Global Village in Season 31

The biggest new thing is Tokyo Rush, a roller coaster with sharp turns and a loop. But it will not be open when the season starts. It opens later in the season, and no date has been announced.

Global Village Tickets

A Global Village ticket costs AED 25 or AED 30, and the price is the same online and at the gate. The AED 25 Weekday ticket is for Monday to Thursday, but not on a public holiday. The AED 30 Any Day ticket works on every day of the season.

This season you need the AED 30 ticket on a Sunday. Last season the Weekday ticket was valid on Sunday too.

Children under three, seniors over 65, and people of determination with one companion enter free. You pay extra for rides and some attractions. Our Global Village tickets guide explains the offers and how to book.

Is Global Village Open Every Day?

Yes. Global Village is open seven days a week from 14 October 2026 until May 2027, and the official website lists no weekly closing day. The exact last day has not been announced. The organiser says only "May 2027", and in four of the last five seasons it later moved the closing date to a later day.

Global Village is mostly outdoors, so it can close for bad weather. Last season it closed for one day, on 18 December 2025. It is also closed for the whole summer. If rain is forecast for the evening you plan to go, check our page on whether Global Village is open today.

Global Village Parking

Yes, there is free parking at Global Village: P1, P3 and P5 are free every day. P1 and P3 are about 400 metres from the Gate of the World, and P5 is about 450 metres.

Three zones are paid. You pay once for the whole day, not by the hour: AED 75, AED 120 and AED 200. The AED 200 zone is VIP Parking.

The free zones fill up quickly on weekend evenings, so come early or allow extra time. On busy days more free zones open further away. Our Global Village parking guide shows every zone, how far each one is from the gate, and which zone to choose.

Bus and Metro to Global Village

No Metro line goes to Global Village, so you finish the trip by bus or taxi. The RTA, Dubai's transport authority, runs four direct buses for the season, and each one starts at or passes a Metro station:

  • 102 from Al Rashidiya Bus Station, every 60 minutes
  • 103 from Union Bus Station, every 40 minutes
  • 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, every 60 minutes
  • 106 from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station, every 60 minutes

The fare is AED 10 for one trip, paid with a Nol card, according to Gulf News. Our guide to the bus and Metro to Global Village has the first and last bus on each route, and the buses from Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.

Things You Cannot Miss at Global Village

You cannot see all of Global Village in one evening. It has 29 pavilions, about 40,000 shows across the season, and more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval, the funfair area. So choose what you want to see before you go. Our list of things you cannot miss at Global Village covers the new things, the shows and the best attractions.

Global Village VIP Packs

A VIP pack is a bundle of entry tickets, VIP parking and ride points. This season the packs cost from AED 1,890 for Silver to AED 7,900 for Diamond, and they are sold only on the Coca-Cola Arena website. They went on sale on 26 September 2026 in limited numbers. Our guide to Global Village VIP packs lists what is in each pack.

FAQs

Is Global Village entry free?

No, most visitors pay. Entry costs AED 25 per person from Monday to Thursday and AED 30 from Friday to Sunday. Entry is free for children under three, for seniors over 65, and for people of determination with one companion. Staff can ask for ID before giving a free ticket.

How long will Global Village last?

Season 31 runs from Wednesday 14 October 2026 until May 2027, which is more than seven months. The exact last day has not been announced. Last season ended on 31 May 2026, after the closing date was extended by three weeks.

Is Global Village open on Sunday?

Yes. Global Village is open on Sunday from 4pm to midnight, and the entry gates close at 11:30pm. This season a Sunday visit needs the AED 30 Any Day ticket, because the AED 25 Weekday ticket is valid only from Monday to Thursday.

What is the Global Village family day?

Family day is Tuesday. On Tuesdays Global Village is reserved for families, couples and ladies, so men on their own or in a group of men are not admitted. The rule does not apply when a Tuesday is a public holiday. The ticket price is the same as on other weekdays.

Why is Global Village closed in summer?

Global Village is mostly outdoors, and Dubai's summer heat is too strong for an open-air park. It opens in October, stays open until May and closes for the summer. It was last closed from 1 June to 13 October 2026.
