For three days, about 600 companies fill the halls with water, power and green technology. You can walk around electric and hydrogen cars in the Green Mobility zone, and on the second and third days the World Green Economy Summit takes place in the same building.

What Is WETEX?

WETEX is the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, a yearly trade show in Dubai run by DEWA, the city's electricity and water company. It has been held since 1999, and 2026 is the 28th edition.

Think of it as the place where the companies behind Dubai's electricity and water show what they make. You will see solar panels, water treatment plants, power cables, smart meters, electric car chargers and a great deal of software for running cities. Government bodies take stands too, including DEWA, which has two.

3,100
exhibiting companies and brands
65
countries
50,000+
visitors
95,000
square metres of halls
For 2026 the official exhibitor list shows 615 exhibitors so far. Visitor numbers for 2026 come after the show.

So who is it for? Mostly people who work in water, energy, building or the environment, and they come to meet suppliers and do business. DWTC lists WETEX as a trade event. But the visitor form also has choices for "General Awareness" and "Education/Student", so a curious resident or a university student can register too. Just expect a business show, not a family day out.

WETEX 2026 Dates and Timings

WETEX 2026 runs for three days, from Tuesday 20 October to Thursday 22 October 2026. All three are working days, so most visitors come for one day during the week.

The halls are open from 10am to 6pm every day. These hours come from the "Show timing" table in the official 2026 exhibitor manual, and the event programme gives the same 10am to 6pm for the second and third days.

What happens on each of the three days
All three days: exhibition halls open 10am to 6pm (2026 exhibitor manual).
DAY 1
Tuesday 20 October
10am: opening ceremony, Za'abeel Hall 1
Then: halls open to visitors
10am to 4pm: Health and Safety Hub, Sheikh Maktoum Hall
DAY 2
Wednesday 21 October
10am: World Green Economy Summit opens, Sheikh Rashid Hall
All day: exhibition, plus seminars in five halls
DAY 3
Thursday 22 October
9am to 4pm: second day of the summit
6pm: WETEX 2026 closes
Seminar times differ by hall. Most run between 10am and 5pm (WETEX 2026 event programme).

The first morning starts with the opening ceremony in Za'abeel Hall 1. If you only want to walk the stands, Wednesday or Thursday may be calmer. No last-entry time is published, so plan to arrive by 4pm if you want two good hours inside.

WETEX 2026 Registration

There are two separate ways to register for WETEX 2026. Visitors fill in one online form, with no payment step. Companies that want a stand go through the WETEX sales team and pay per square metre. This section covers both, starting with visitors.

Visitor registration

You register as a visitor on one form on the official website, and it creates an account for you at the same time. You can also reach the form from "Visitor" in the site menu. Have your work details ready before you start, because the form asks for them.

The visitor form, part by part
The six parts of the form on wetex.ae, top to bottom. It all fits on one page.
1
Your details
First name, last name, nationality.
2
Work
Designation, company name, company location.
3
Contact
Address, mobile number. Landline is optional.
4
Sign-in details
Email and a password of 12 characters or more.
5
Tell us more
Interests, how you heard about WETEX, purpose of visit.
6
Terms
Tick the box and press Submit.
No step asks for a card or a payment.

Here is the form in the order you will see it:

  1. Your details. Type your first name and last name, then choose your nationality from the list.
  2. Work. Type your designation (your job title) and your company name, then choose the country where your company is based. If you are a student, put your course in "Designation" and your university as the company.
  3. Contact. Type your address, choose your country code and type your mobile number without the first zero, for example 501234567. The phone number below it is optional.
  4. Sign-in details. Type your email address and choose a password. It must have at least 12 characters, with at least one capital letter, one small letter, one number and one special character such as ! or @. Type it again in "Confirm password".
  5. Tell us more. Under "I am interested in", pick from water, electricity, clean and renewable energy, environment, oil and gas, technology, sustainability or other. Then say how you heard about WETEX, and choose the main purpose of your visit: General Awareness, Business or Education/Student.
  6. Terms. Tick the box to accept the terms and the privacy policy, then press Submit.

The email and password you chose become your WETEX dashboard account. You sign in at "Sign In" on the top right of the website, and you can also ask for a one-time code by email instead of the password. The page does not say whether you get a badge or a QR code by email, so look in your inbox, and in your junk folder, after you submit.

The WETEX app is the second way in. It is free, it is made by DEWA, and its store listing names "Online Visitor Registration" as one of its features, alongside the exhibitor list and the floor plan.

Who can register as a visitor, and the rule for children

Anyone working in the industry can register, and so can a resident who chooses "General Awareness" or a student who chooses "Education/Student". The one firm rule is about age. Children under 16 can come in only on a show visit organised by their school or college, or with special approval from the organiser or DWTC. That rule is in the 2026 exhibitor manual.

The tour that is not for visitors

When you search for WETEX registration, Google also shows a page called "Innovation Centre Tour". That tour is for exhibitors only, and the page says so, so do not fill it in by mistake. Media and B2B meeting bookings also have their own forms under "Participate" on the website.

What to bring on the day

WETEX does not publish a list. We suggest you bring:

  • your phone, with the email you registered with open in your mail app
  • your dashboard email and password, in case the desk asks you to sign in
  • your Emirates ID or passport, in case you are asked for photo ID
  • business cards, if you are going to meet suppliers

Exhibitor registration

Companies do not use the visitor form. To exhibit, you book a stand through the WETEX sales team, and it is a paid, step-by-step process:

  1. Contact sales. Send an enquiry through the contact form on wetex.ae, or call +971 4 515 0696 or email sales_general@wetex.ae.
  2. Fill in the participation form. It is a PDF that asks for your first and second choice of stand, the size in square metres, your sector and business activity, your company and VAT details, and two contact people. You sign it, stamp it and send it back to WETEX sales.
  3. Pay. You pay 25% when the invoice arrives and the rest by 15 August.
  4. Order services and badges. After payment you get a login for the exhibitor portal, where you order stand services and print your staff badges.

Stand space costs AED 1,655 per square metre for space only and AED 1,760 for a ready-built stand, with 9 square metres as the minimum. Every stand comes with free staff badges, from 5 for the smallest size up to 40 for the largest.

For 2026 it is too late. The balance was due on 15 August, the service forms in September, and build-up starts on 18 October. If you want a stand at WETEX 2027, contact the sales team now.

Is WETEX Free?

No price is shown anywhere for visitors. The registration form has no ticket type, no payment step and no card field, and no ticket seller lists WETEX 2026. In practice, then, you register and you go.

But be clear on one thing: no official page uses the word "free" for 2026. So if you see "WETEX tickets" sold on another website, do not pay. The only official way in is the form on wetex.ae or the WETEX app.

WETEX 2026 Exhibitor List

The WETEX 2026 exhibitor list is on the official website and already shows 615 exhibitors: 597 private sector companies and 18 government stands. On the page, scroll down past the text for exhibitors to reach the table.

Each row gives the company name, the stand number, the country, the sector, what the company does and the hall. You can use it in three ways:

  • Choose one of the two tabs at the top: Private Sector or Government Organization.
  • Type in the search box, and choose which column to search: name, stand number, country, sector, business activity or hall.
  • Sort the table by any of those columns, for example by hall, so you can plan a walk one hall at a time.

The list shows 20 companies a page, so searching is quicker than scrolling. Write down the stand numbers you want. A stand number such as 6-D20 tells you the hall (Hall 6) before you even look at the map.

Country pavilions

Some countries group their companies together in one area, called a pavilion. The 2026 floor plan shows pavilions for Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Russia, Switzerland and Taiwan, plus an international pavilion. Many of them are in the Sheikh Saeed halls, marked "SS" in the list.

The floor plan

The floor plan is a PDF under "Content Hub" in the site menu, called "WETEX 2026 floor plan". It is dated 5 October 2026 and shows every stand with the company name and size, across the Za'abeel halls, Halls 1 to 8, the Arena, the Sheikh Saeed halls and Sheikh Maktoum Hall. Save it on your phone before you leave home.

What to See at WETEX 2026

If you are not there to buy, these are the parts of WETEX 2026 that a resident is most likely to enjoy. They are spread across the building, so it helps to know which hall to walk to.

1. Green Mobility

This is the zone most people talk about afterwards. In Hall 4, DEWA brings together electric and hydrogen vehicles, charging technology and the systems companies use to run fleets of electric vehicles.

The Green Mobility conference runs in the same hall from 10am to 4:30pm each day. It is a good stop if you are thinking about buying an electric car and want to understand charging.

2. Water Platform

The Water Platform in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3 is one of the parts DEWA is putting forward this year, and it is the home of the water seminars. They run from late morning until about 2:50pm on each day. Many of the water treatment companies on the exhibitor list are in the Sheikh Saeed halls too.

3. Health and Safety Hub

The hub in Sheikh Maktoum Hall is about health and safety at work, with a programme of talks. It runs from 10am to 4pm on the first and third days, and only until noon on Wednesday 21 October.

4. World Green Economy Summit

The World Green Economy Summit is a conference on the green economy that DEWA holds alongside WETEX. It runs in Sheikh Rashid Hall on Wednesday 21 October from 10am and on Thursday 22 October from 9am to 4pm.

Can a WETEX visitor walk in? The organiser does not say. We found no separate summit registration, and the programme does not mark it as invite-only. Ask at the registration desk on the day, or email info@wetex.ae before you go.

5. Seminars

Seminars run all day in several halls: renewables and sustainability in Hall 1, sponsors' talks in Hall 8, and the water and mobility talks above. The programme marks only three things as "by invite only": a leadership roundtable, a meeting of charge point operators and the gala dinner. The other sessions carry no such note.

WETEX 2026 Location

WETEX 2026 is held at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on Sheikh Zayed Road, and it uses most of the venue: the Za'abeel halls, Halls 1 to 8, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 to 3, Sheikh Maktoum Hall, the Trade Centre Arena and the Al Multaqa Ballroom. Type "Dubai World Trade Centre" into your maps app. The programme's map marks the Za'abeel entrance, next to Za'abeel Hall 1, the opening hall.

Four ways to reach the halls
From DWTC's Getting Here page and Parkin's event tariff.
METRO
World Trade Centre station
Line: Red Line
Pay: with your Nol card
Why: the venue's own station, no parking to find
TAXI
RTA taxi, Careem or Uber

Where: the streets around DWTC
No park and ride service has been announced for WETEX 2026.

The Metro is the easiest way to get there. DWTC has its own station, World Trade Centre on the Red Line, so you do not need to look for parking. Tap your Nol card at the gate and follow the signs for the exhibition halls when you come out.

If you drive, DWTC has six paid car parks, two free car parks and a valet service, with 7,530 spaces in all and charging bays for electric cars. Car park rates for WETEX have not been published. As a guide, at GITEX in October 2025 the Exhibition Street multi-storey car park charged AED 100 for the first hour.

On the streets around the venue, Parkin's event zone charges AED 25 an hour while a big event is on. Read the sign at your bay before you pay.

Park and ride: for GITEX 2025 the RTA ran free park and ride from three Metro stations, but no park and ride has been announced for WETEX 2026. If you are coming from far away, park at any Red Line station and take the Metro in.
