WETEX 2026 Location: How to Get There by Metro, and Where to Park
WETEX 2026 is at Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road from 20 to 22 October. Take the Red Line to World Trade Centre Metro station, beside the halls, or drive to one of DWTC's six paid and two free car parks. Car park rates for WETEX have not been published.
WETEX 2026 opens on Tuesday 20 October at Dubai World Trade Centre, a location with its own Metro station on the Red Line. If you are going to WETEX in Dubai this year, come by Metro if you can: the station is at the edge of the exhibition site, and you skip the queue for parking.
If you drive, there are car parks on every side of the halls, but their rates for WETEX have not been published yet, and Parkin has not said whether its event tariff will apply to the streets around the venue this time.
WETEX 2026 Location
In this guide you will find where WETEX is and which door to use, how to come by Metro, every DWTC car park and what parking has cost at other shows, taxi drop-off points, and the routes from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

WETEX Location Map
WETEX is held at Dubai World Trade Centre, the large exhibition centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the Trade Centre Roundabout end of the road. In your maps app, search for "Dubai World Trade Centre". The button below opens the pin that DWTC itself uses.
The site is big. From the Za'abeel halls at the west end to the Exhibitions Street car park at the east end is a long walk, so it pays to know which hall you want before you arrive.
The halls WETEX uses
WETEX fills most of the venue. DWTC's event page lists the Za'abeel Halls 1 to 3, Halls 1 to 8, Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 to 3, Sheikh Maktoum Hall, the Trade Centre Arena, the Pavilion and the Al Multaqa Ballroom. The World Green Economy Summit, on 21 and 22 October, is in Sheikh Rashid Hall; our World Green Economy Summit guide covers it.
A few halls matter more to visitors. DEWA's main stand and the opening ceremony are in Za'abeel Hall 1, the Green Mobility zone is in Hall 4, and the Water Platform is in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3. The full hall plan is on our main WETEX 2026 guide, and our WETEX exhibitor list guide shows how to find a stand.
Which entrance to use
The map in the WETEX 2026 event programme marks the Za'abeel Entrance, beside Za'abeel Hall 1, where the show opens. Use it if you are going to the opening, to DEWA's main stand or to the Za'abeel halls. Have your registration email open on your phone when you reach the door. If you have not registered yet, our WETEX registration guide takes you through the form.
There are other doors, and DWTC's own maps show them all:
- Za'abeel Entrance: DWTC's map has two doors with this name. One is on 2nd Za'abeel Road, at the end of Za'abeel Halls 1 to 3. The other is on Al Mustaqbal Street, at Za'abeel Halls 4 to 6.
- Exhibition Gate: on the south side, facing Exhibition Plaza and the Metro station. This is the door you reach first from the Metro.
- Convention Gate: on the north side, near the footbridge from Al Mustaqbal Street Parking.
Inside, two long corridors connect the halls. Concourse 1 runs east to west past Halls 1 to 4, and Concourse 2 runs north to south between Halls 5 to 8 and Sheikh Rashid Hall. So whichever door you use, you can walk through to any WETEX hall.
The sketch above is ours and is not to scale. DWTC's parking map shows the real layout, with a Google Maps link for each car park and the taxi hub.
Once you know where you are going, the next choice is how to get there. Here are the four ways, side by side.
World Trade Centre Metro Station
The easiest way to reach WETEX is the Dubai Metro. DWTC has its own station, World Trade Centre, on the Red Line. You do not need to change trains if you start anywhere on the Red Line, from Centrepoint near the airport to the Expo and Life Pharmacy ends.
From the station to the halls
The station is on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the south edge of the DWTC site. Walk north across Exhibition Plaza to the Exhibition Gate, which is the nearest door. DWTC's accessibility map draws a step-free route along exactly this path.
From the Exhibition Gate, it depends on your hall:
- For Halls 5 to 8, Sheikh Maktoum Hall and Sheikh Rashid Hall, follow Concourse 2 north.
- For Halls 1 to 4, the Arena and Sheikh Saeed Halls, turn west along Concourse 1.
- For the Za'abeel halls and the opening in Za'abeel Hall 1, keep going west along Concourse 1 to the end, then into Za'abeel Concourse 1.
DWTC and the RTA do not publish a walking time from the station. The Za'abeel halls are at the far end of the site, so if you are going to the 10am opening, give yourself extra time.
Metro hours from 20 to 22 October
WETEX runs from Tuesday to Thursday, and the RTA opens Metro stations from 5am to midnight from Monday to Thursday. The halls close at 6pm, so you have plenty of time to get home. The RTA notes that the first and last trains differ by station and direction, so check the RTA's S'hail app if you are travelling very early or late.
Nol card and fares
You pay for the Metro with a Nol card, which you tap at the gate when you go in and again when you come out. You can buy one at any station. The fare depends on how many zones you cross:
| Trip | Silver Nol card | Red ticket |
|---|---|---|
| Within one zone | AED 3 | AED 4 |
| Two zones next to each other | AED 5 | AED 6 |
| More than two zones | AED 7.50 | AED 8.50 |
The silver card is the cheaper choice if you live in Dubai. The red ticket is a paper ticket for people who travel rarely. Gold class costs double. Top up your card before you set off, so you are not queueing at a ticket machine when the halls close at 6pm.
WETEX Parking at DWTC
DWTC has six paid car parks, two free car parks and a valet service, with 7,530 spaces in all. Spaces go on a first come, first served basis, and on a big show day the car parks closest to the halls fill first.
The DWTC car parks
DWTC's 2026 parking map names five car parks around the halls. Pick the one closest to the hall you want, because the walk from one end of the site to the other is long.
DWTC's Gulfood visitor guide also lists covered parking at The Offices 1 and One Central, east of Exhibitions Street, and says the free parking spaces are opposite the Convention Tower, on the north side. They are few, so do not count on them.
What the car parks cost
DWTC has not published car park rates for WETEX 2026. Rates change from show to show, so the best guide is what DWTC charged at other recent events:
- Summer 2026 (Dubai Sports World): Exhibitions Street Parking cost AED 15 for the first hour and AED 10 for each extra hour. Al Mustaqbal Street Parking and Za'abeel Plaza Parking cost AED 5 for the first two hours and AED 5 for each extra hour.
- GITEX, October 2025: Exhibitions Street Parking cost AED 100 for the first hour and AED 50 for each extra hour, and Al Mustaqbal Street Parking about AED 50 and then AED 30 an hour. A lost ticket cost AED 600.
GITEX is the biggest show of the year at DWTC, so WETEX rates may well be closer to the summer level. But nobody has said so. Read the board at the car park entrance before you take a ticket, and keep the ticket safe.
Street parking and the Parkin event zone
The public street bays around DWTC belong to Parkin, not to DWTC. During what it calls grand events, Parkin can switch on an event tariff of AED 25 an hour, from 8am to 10pm, on about 200 bays right around the venue. Bays in the event zone carry an "X" on their signs.
Parkin switches this tariff on show by show. It did so for GITEX in October 2025. For WETEX 2026, Parkin has made no announcement as of 15 October. So check the sign at your bay and the price in the Parkin app before you pay. At AED 25 an hour, four hours costs AED 100.
Electric car charging and valet
DWTC's parking map marks electric car charging units at Za'abeel Plaza, Al Mustaqbal Street, Exhibitions Street and Rashid Tower car parks. It does not say how many chargers there are or what they cost, so do not plan on a full charge.
The same map says valet parking and a jump-start service are available on request, and an earlier DWTC map placed the valet at Arena Plaza, by the Trade Centre Arena. The price is not published. Call DWTC on 800 3982 (800 DWTC) to ask before you go.
Park and ride from a Red Line station
No park and ride service has been announced for WETEX 2026. For GITEX 2025 the RTA offered free parking at three Metro stations, but nothing like that has been said for WETEX.
You can still do it yourself. Two Red Line stations have large car parks where parking is free if you ride the Metro:
- National Paints station, at the Jebel Ali end, on the way in from Abu Dhabi.
- Centrepoint station, in Al Rashidiya near the airport, on the way in from Sharjah.
- Tap in at the car park. Tap your Nol card at the car park entrance. If you do not have one, buy a red ticket at the entrance.
- Ride to World Trade Centre. Use the same card for the Metro trip both ways.
- Leave within an hour. Tap the same card at the car park exit within 60 minutes of your last Metro trip, or the normal parking charge applies.
People who park without riding pay AED 10 an hour, up to AED 50 a day. This is also the answer if you arrive at DWTC and find the car parks full: drive on to a Red Line station rather than circling the venue.
Taxi, Careem and Uber Drop-Off at DWTC
RTA taxis, Careem and Uber all drop off at set points around the venue, and DWTC says most taxi drivers know them. DWTC's parking map marks the drop-off points for Uber, Careem, taxis for people of determination and private limousines at the main doors, including both Za'abeel Entrances, the Convention Gate and the Exhibition Gate.
So tell your driver the door, not only "World Trade Centre":
- "Za'abeel Entrance" for the opening, DEWA's main stand and the Za'abeel halls.
- "Exhibition Gate" for Halls 1 to 8, the Arena and Sheikh Saeed Halls.
- "Convention Gate" for Sheikh Maktoum Hall and Sheikh Rashid Hall.
An RTA taxi fare starts at AED 5, or AED 12 if you book ahead on 04 208 0808, and most taxis take cards. You can ask for a ladies' taxi when you book. For the trip home, the taxi rank and transport hub is on the north side of Al Mustaqbal Street, across the footbridge from the Convention Gate.
Getting to WETEX From Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
From either city, the plan is the same: get to a Red Line station, then ride the Metro to World Trade Centre.
From Abu Dhabi:
- By bus, take RTA route E101 from Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station to Ibn Battuta Bus Station in Dubai. Ibn Battuta Metro station is next to it, on the Red Line.
- By car, drive in on Sheikh Zayed Road, which runs right past DWTC, or park at National Paints station and take the Metro.
From Sharjah:
- By bus, take RTA route E303 from Al Jubail Bus Station to Union Square, next to Union Metro station on the Red Line. The fare is AED 12.
- By car, park at Centrepoint station and take the Red Line all the way to World Trade Centre, without changing.
For live bus times, use the RTA's S'hail app.
DWTC Accessibility for People of Determination
DWTC is step-free for wheelchair users. All public entrances have low ramps and automatic doors, the floors inside are level, and every area can be reached by a lift. The lifts have Braille buttons and announce each floor.
Here is what DWTC offers, and where:
- Parking: all five car parks on the 2026 parking map have bays for people of determination, and DWTC's accessibility map also marks bays in the One Central Car Park.
- Drop-off: taxis for people of determination use the same drop-off points as other taxis, at the main doors.
- From the Metro: DWTC's accessibility map draws a step-free outdoor route from World Trade Centre station to the Exhibition Gate.
- Wheelchairs: you can borrow one free of charge from the information desks at the Convention Gate, the Exhibition Gate and Hall 1, or from the medical station next to Hall 5. You cannot book ahead, and you need a photo ID such as your Emirates ID or driving licence.
- Toilets: there are more than 75 accessible toilets, near most hall entrances and inside the halls.
If you need help on the day, contact DWTC's customer care team before your visit on 800 3982 or at care@dwtc.com.
