WETEX 2026 Registration: How to Register as a Visitor or Exhibitor

You register for WETEX 2026 as a visitor on one online form at wetex.ae or in the WETEX app, and no price or payment step is shown. Companies book a stand through the WETEX sales team from AED 1,655 per square metre, and stand payments for 2026 closed on 15 August.

WETEX 2026 registration is open now for visitors, five days before WETEX, DEWA's water, energy and environment show, opens on Tuesday 20 October at Dubai World Trade Centre. You fill in one form on the WETEX website or in the WETEX app, and the form shows no price and no payment step.

Companies that want a stand go through a different, paid process with the WETEX sales team, and for 2026 that process is almost over. This guide walks you through both, field by field, and tells you what to do when the form will not let you through.

WETEX 2026 Registration

In this guide you will find the visitor form step by step, how to sign in afterwards, the honest answer on tickets and fees, the other forms on the website, and the full exhibitor process.

Latest announcements, updated 15 October 2026

  • 14 May 2026: DEWA opened registration for companies that want a stand at WETEX 2026. Exhibitor registration
  • 15 August: the last day to pay the balance for a stand. From this date a cancelled stand is not refunded. Registration fee
  • 29 September: the last day for most exhibitor service forms, such as the catalogue entry and the stand name board. Exhibitor registration
  • Open now: visitor registration on the website and in the app, with no closing date published. Visitor registration
  • Not announced: a ticket price, a registration deadline, or whether you can register at the door. Is WETEX free?

WETEX Visitor Registration

You register as a visitor on one form at wetex.ae/en/visitor-registration, and the same form creates your WETEX account. It takes one sitting, and nothing is uploaded. Before you start, check which of the two routes is yours.

Which of the two routes is yours?
Visitors and companies with a stand use different forms, and only one of them has a price.

From the visitor form on wetex.ae and the 2026 participation form, both read on 15 October 2026.

If you came to walk the halls, meet suppliers or learn, you are a visitor. Have these ready before you open the form:

  • an email address you can open on your phone, because it becomes your login
  • your mobile number
  • your job title and your company name (students use their course and university)
  • a new password of at least 12 characters

Step 1: Open the visitor registration form

Open the button above, or go to wetex.ae and choose Visitor in the top menu. You can also press Participate at the top right, choose Visitor and press Continue. All three take you to a page called "Visitor Registration Form".

Next to that title is a small Change link. It takes you back to the Participate page, so use it only if you picked the wrong type of registration.

Step 2: Fill in "Your details" and "Work"

The first part, Your details, asks for your first name and last name as two separate boxes, then your nationality from a list. Type your name as it appears on your Emirates ID or passport, since that is the ID you may show at the door.

The second part, Work, asks for three things:

  • Designation: your job title, such as "Facilities Manager".
  • Company Name: where you work.
  • Company Location: the country your company is in, from a list.

If you are a student, write your course under Designation and your university under Company Name. If you are coming out of personal interest, write your real job and employer: the form has no box for "not working in the industry", and you tell it your reason for visiting later.

Step 3: Add your contact numbers

The Contact part starts with an Address box. Below it, choose your Country Code from the list, for example "United Arab Emirates (+971)", then type your Mobile Number without the first zero. The form's own example is 501234567, so 050 123 4567 becomes 501234567.

The Phone Number (Optional) line works the same way, with 41234567 as the example for a Dubai landline. You can leave it empty.

Step 4: Choose your sign-in details

This is the part where most people get stuck. Sign-in details asks for your Email and a Password, and the form says these are how you sign in to your dashboard later.

The password box shows a strength line and five checks that change as you type:

A password the form will accept
The form checks five things as you type. All five must be met before you can submit.
✓
12 characters or more
✓
At least 1 number
✓
At least 1 small (lowercase) letter
✓
At least 1 capital (uppercase) letter
✓
At least 1 special character, such as ! @ # or $
An easy way to reach 12: two words, a number and a symbol, in the pattern Word + Word + number + !. Do not reuse a password from another account.

Type the same password again under Confirm password. The small eye icon, "Toggle password", shows what you typed, which helps you spot a mistake before you submit. Write the password down somewhere safe, or plan to use the one-time code instead (more on that below).

Step 5: Answer "Tell us more" and submit

The last part has three dropdown lists. On the live page each list wrongly shows "Select Nationality" as its label, so go by the choices inside it:

  1. What interests you: Water, Electricity, Clean and renewable energy, Environment, Oil and Gas, Technology, Sustainability or Other. If you choose Other, an Other interest (Optional) box lets you type it.
  2. How you heard about WETEX: for example DEWA website, Social media, Newsletter, Email shot, Events, Newspapers or Others.
  3. Why you are visiting: General Awareness, Business or Education/Student.

Then, under Terms & Conditions, tick the box. By ticking it you agree that WETEX can use your personal data to manage your registration and your visit. Press Submit.

Who can register as a visitor

Anyone with a reason to see the show can register, as long as they are 16 or older. The organiser calls its visitors business visitors, and Dubai World Trade Centre lists WETEX as a trade event. But the purpose list on the form includes General Awareness and Education/Student, so a resident or a student is not turned away by the form.

The firm rule is about age. The 2026 exhibitor manual says children under 16 can enter only on a show visit organised by their school or college, or with special approval from the organiser or DWTC. There is no separate school form on the website, so a teacher planning a class visit should email info@wetex.ae first.

Sign in to your WETEX dashboard

Once you submit, the email and password you chose become your WETEX dashboard account. To use it, press Sign In at the top right of any page on wetex.ae.

The one-time code is the easier route on the day. You do not need to remember the 12-character password: you type your email, press Email me a one-time code, and open the code in your mail app. If you have no account yet, the sign-in page has a Sign up link that takes you back to registration.

Register in the WETEX app

The WETEX app is the second way to register. It is made by DEWA, it costs nothing to download, and both store listings name "Online Visitor Registration" as one of its features, together with the exhibitor list, the floor plan and directions inside the halls.

Use one route, not both. If you register on the website, sign in to the app with the same email rather than filling in a second registration.

Is WETEX Free?

No price is shown anywhere for WETEX visitors. The visitor form has no ticket choice, no payment step and no card field, and the app store listings mention no payment either. So in practice you register and go: no step in the process asks you for money.

But no official WETEX page uses the word "free" for 2026 entry, so we will not promise it. If that changes, it will show on the form first.

WETEX Tickets

No WETEX ticket is on sale on any official page or app. When people search for WETEX tickets or a WETEX pass, what they need is the visitor registration above: the form is the only official way in, and it creates your account.

So if a website or a social media post offers WETEX tickets for money, do not pay. No ticket seller is listed for WETEX 2026, and the organiser points only to wetex.ae and its own app.

What Happens After You Register for WETEX

After you press Submit, two things should happen: your account is created, and you can sign in. The registration page does not say whether you get a confirmation email, a QR code or a badge by email. So check your inbox, and your junk or spam folder, in the minutes after you submit.

Your WETEX visitor pass

The sign-in page says the dashboard is where you manage your badge, your schedule and seminars. That makes the dashboard the place to look for your visitor pass. Sign in a day before you go, find your badge, and save a screenshot of it in case the hall's Wi-Fi is busy.

The seminars run in several halls over the three days. Our main WETEX 2026 guide has the hours, the halls and what to see.

What to bring on the day

WETEX publishes no list for visitors. We suggest:

  • your phone, with your badge or dashboard open
  • the email address you registered with, so you can ask for a one-time code at the door
  • your Emirates ID or passport, in case the desk asks for photo ID
  • business cards, if you plan to meet suppliers

The nearest Metro stop is World Trade Centre on the Red Line. Our guide to the WETEX location covers the Metro, taxis and parking.

If Your WETEX Registration Does Not Work

Most failed registrations come from four places in the form. Go through them in this order before you contact anyone:

  1. The password is rejected. Count the characters: 12 is the minimum, and all five checks must be met. "Dubai2026!" has only 10 characters, for example.
  2. The mobile number is rejected. Choose the country code from the list and type the number without the first zero.
  3. Submit does nothing. Look for an empty box. The three dropdowns in "Tell us more" are easy to miss because they all say "Select Nationality".
  4. No email arrives. Check junk and spam. Then try to sign in with Email me a one-time code: if a code arrives, your account exists and the registration worked.

If none of that helps, contact WETEX directly:

  • Email: info@wetex.ae
  • Phone: +971 4 515 0696 or +971 4 515 1939
  • On the website: the contact form under Contact in the menu, with "General Enquiries" as the area of interest

Every page of wetex.ae also has an Ask Rammas chat button at the bottom, which you can try for quick questions.

Other WETEX Registration Types

The Participate button on wetex.ae offers five choices: Visitor, B2B and B2G Meetings, Media, Exhibitor and Innovation Centre Tour. Only the first is for most readers, but the others are worth knowing so you do not fill in the wrong one.

B2B and B2G meetings

B2B means a meeting between two businesses; B2G means a meeting between a business and a government body. You book these meetings after you have a WETEX account: when we opened the meeting page, it sent us to the sign-in page first.

Inside, you choose B2B (as an exhibitor or as a visitor) or B2G, pick a category such as Water, Electricity or Energy, Technology, Solar or Others, then choose the exhibitor and a time slot. To find the company you want to meet, use our guide to the WETEX exhibitor list.

Media registration

Media access is only for journalists, photographers and videographers, and every media badge is given on approval. The form asks for your personal details, date of birth, occupation, the name of your media outlet and copies of your ID. Media enquiries go to media@wetex.ae or +971 4 322 3833.

World Green Economy Summit

The summit runs alongside WETEX on 21 and 22 October in Sheikh Rashid Hall, and it has its own website, wges.ae. WETEX does not say whether a visitor registration also lets you into the summit hall. Our World Green Economy Summit guide has the dates, the agenda and how to attend.

The Innovation Centre Tour is for exhibitors only

When you search for WETEX registration, Google also shows a page called "Site Visitor Registration". It sounds like the visitor form, but it is not. It books the Innovation Centre Tour, which is exclusive for WETEX exhibitors.

The tour goes to DEWA's Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park on Monday 19 October, by shuttle from DEWA's Umm Hurair 2 office. The form asks for a booth number and a passport copy, so a visitor cannot complete it anyway.

WETEX Exhibitor Registration

To exhibit at WETEX, your company books a stand through the WETEX sales team, signs a participation form and pays per square metre. Registration for 2026 opened on 14 May, and the show is now days away. So if you are reading this for 2026, it is too late: use the steps below to plan for WETEX 2027.

Step 1: Contact the WETEX sales team

Start with the sales team, because they tell you which stands are still available on the floor plan. You can call +971 4 515 0696 or +971 4 515 1939, email sales_general@wetex.ae, or use the form on the Contact page.

That form asks for your area of interest (choose General Enquiries), your name, designation, company name, nationality, mobile number with country code, email and a message. Press Send Inquiry. In the message, say which sector you are in and roughly how many square metres you want.

Step 2: Fill in the participation form

The participation form is a two-page PDF under Content Hub in the site menu. It is your contract for the space, so fill it in carefully:

  • Booth selection: your first choice and second choice of stand number, and the total area in square metres. If neither stand is available, WETEX gives you the best one left at your size.
  • Sector: Water, Energy/Electricity, Technology, Environment, Solar power or Others.
  • Business activity: what your company does, in four words at most.
  • Costs: the square metres you want as Open Space (space only) or Shell Scheme (a ready-built stand).
  • Company information: company name, the name you exhibit under if it is different, a contact person, phone, mobile, email, website, mailing address and your VAT/TRN number.
  • Two more contacts: a B2B contact for meetings, and an exhibition coordinator.

Step 3: Sign, stamp and send the form

At the end of the form, an authorised person signs it and the company stamps it with its seal. By signing, your company accepts the terms on the form. Send it to WETEX Sales, c/o Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, PO Box 564, Dubai, or by email to sales_general@wetex.ae. The form also asks you to post the original signed contract to DEWA.

Step 4: Pay in two parts

The invoice comes after the form. You pay 25% when you receive the invoice and the other 75% by 15 August. If you book after 15 August, you pay the full amount when you sign. The form warns that paying late puts your stand's size and place at risk. Payment questions go to payments@wetex.ae.

Step 5: Order services and staff badges

Once your stand is confirmed, two logins arrive by email:

  • The Al Fajer exhibitor portal. Al Fajer is the official contractor, so the portal appears as wetex.alfajer.net. Every service form goes through it: freight, electrics, the catalogue entry and the name on your stand.
  • The WETEX exhibitor login. Before the show, DEWA emails a username from no-reply@wetex.ae. You set a password, enter each staff member's details, and each person receives a digital badge with a barcode by email. Each email address can be used only once, and names are limited to 25 characters.

Internet, cleaning and catering at the stand are booked separately with EventPlus, a DWTC company, under its own login. During build-up on 18 and 19 October, a safety jacket and safety boots are required on site.

WETEX Registration Fee

There is no registration fee for visitors: the form has no payment step, as explained above. The fees that exist are for companies taking a stand, and the 2026 participation form lists them per square metre, with 9 square metres as the smallest stand.

Both stand types include staff badges, an entry in the official show catalogue, invitations to the Gala Dinner and the chance to attend the seminars. Sponsorship is a separate package, and its prices are not published.

Read the cancellation terms before you sign. Cancelling or reducing your space costs an administration charge of 5,000 on the form (the form gives no currency, but its prices are in dirhams). If you cancel or reduce after 15 August, the full contract price is due and is not refunded.

FAQs

Can I register for WETEX at the venue?

WETEX does not say. No page mentions registration at the door, so register online or in the app before you go. It takes one form.

Do I need to register for each day of WETEX?

The form does not ask which day you are coming, and it creates one account. Nothing on the website asks you to register again for the second or third day.

I registered for WETEX last year. Do I need to register again?

When is WETEX 2027?

The dates of WETEX 2027 have not been announced. WETEX is held every year at Dubai World Trade Centre, and the 2026 show runs from 20 to 22 October.
