12 Best Job Search Apps in UAE: Find your next high paying job here
The best job search apps in the UAE are LinkedIn for office jobs, Indeed for the most listings, Bayt for Gulf-wide jobs in Arabic and English, and Naukrigulf for South Asian job seekers. Dubai Careers and FAHR list government jobs, and Nafis is for Emiratis. All 12 apps are free to apply on, and no real employer asks you to pay a fee.
Twelve apps cover almost every job you can find online in the UAE, and LinkedIn, Indeed, Bayt and Naukrigulf carry most of them. Glassdoor merged into Indeed this year. Government jobs sit in their own apps, which most people never hear about.
Job Search Apps in the UAE
In this guide you will find 12 job search apps in the UAE, with who each one is for, what you can do free, and exactly what a paid plan adds. Then we answer which app is best, which ones are free, which suit high-paying jobs, and compare the pairs people search for most, such as LinkedIn vs Indeed and Naukrigulf vs GulfTalent.
Want the quick answer? Jump to the best job app for your kind of job.
1. LinkedIn
LinkedIn is where most office jobs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are posted, and where UAE recruiters go looking for people. You build a profile, apply with one tap through Easy Apply, and message hiring managers directly. A complete profile keeps working for you even on days you do not apply.
Only on LinkedIn: recruiters come to you
Turn on Open to Work and recruiters searching for your skills in the UAE can find you, even for jobs that are never advertised.
Is LinkedIn Premium worth it?
It helps most when you want to message a recruiter or hiring manager you do not know: the 5 InMails a month are the one thing the free app cannot do. Seeing who viewed you tells you which companies are looking. If you only apply through Easy Apply, the free app is enough.
Choose LinkedIn if you want an office or professional job. Keep your profile up to date, and set a reminder before a Premium trial ends.
2. Bayt.com
Bayt is a Dubai job site that has been running since 2000. It lists jobs across the UAE and the wider Middle East, in Arabic and English, and matches them to your CV. Creating a CV, searching and applying are all free.
Only on Bayt: a Gulf-style CV built for you
Bayt's CV builder turns your details into the kind of CV Gulf employers expect, which helps if you are moving from abroad.
Is Bayt Premium worth it?
Bayt's paid plans are about being seen first: your CV ranks higher when employers search, and promotion credits push an application to the top of one job's list. That helps most for popular jobs with hundreds of applicants. Use the promotions only on the jobs you really want, and try one month before a longer plan.
Choose Bayt if you want the widest mix of jobs in the Gulf, especially if you read Arabic.
3. Naukrigulf
Naukrigulf is the Gulf job site of Info Edge, the company behind India's Naukri.com. It has the second most ratings of any job app in the UAE App Store, and it is especially popular with people from India and the rest of South Asia who are already in the Gulf. You can apply with one click and see which recruiters looked at your CV.
Only on Naukrigulf: see who viewed your CV
The app shows which recruiters opened your CV, so you know your application was seen. Some reviewers say recruiters called them without them even applying.
Do you need Naukrigulf's paid services?
Not really. Resume Spotlight lifts your CV in recruiter searches, but you can apply to every job free, and a few reviewers say the paid CV writing brought them no calls. Fix your CV yourself first.
Choose Naukrigulf if you are from South Asia and want jobs in oil and gas, IT, healthcare, finance or retail.
4. Indeed
Indeed collects job ads from company websites and other job boards, so it shows more jobs in one search than any other app. It has the most ratings of any job app in the UAE App Store, and it is a good place for hotel, retail and office jobs. Since July 2026 it also owns Glassdoor.
Only on Indeed: the most jobs in one search
Indeed pulls in ads from company career pages and other sites, so one search covers jobs you would otherwise have to find one by one.
What to watch for: because Indeed copies ads from other sites, some listings are reposts of jobs that have already closed. When a job matters to you, open the employer's own careers page and apply there too.
Choose Indeed if you want to see as many jobs as possible, at any level.
5. GulfTalent
GulfTalent is a Dubai job site for experienced professionals and managers, with jobs from large employers across the Gulf. Its strongest fields are engineering, construction, oil and gas, banking and aviation, so it suits a mid-career move more than a first job.
Only on GulfTalent: compare yourself with other applicants
Premium shows how your profile compares with the other people who applied to the same job, which tells you whether to push or move on.
Is GulfTalent Premium worth it?
It is most useful if you apply to a few senior roles and want to know how you stack up. At AED 124.99 for one month it costs more than Bayt Premium, so try the free version first and pay only during an active search.
Choose GulfTalent if you are an experienced engineer, manager or finance professional.
6. Glassdoor
Glassdoor is best known for company reviews and salaries written by employees. It also lists jobs. It merged into Indeed on 1 July 2026, but the app and its reviews continue, and you now sign in with an Indeed account.
Only on Glassdoor: what staff really earn
Before an interview, look up what people in the same job at that company say they earn, and what they think of their managers.
What to watch for: big employers in Dubai have plenty of reviews, but small companies may have only a few or none, so a missing review is not a warning sign by itself.
Choose Glassdoor if you have an interview coming up or an offer to weigh.
7. foundit
foundit is the new name of Monster, the job site that used to run Monster Gulf. The app covers India, the Middle East and South East Asia, including the UAE. It is a useful second job board, but it has far fewer UAE ratings than the apps above.
Only on foundit: India and the Gulf in one app
foundit lists jobs in India and the Gulf side by side, which helps if you are open to either.
Choose foundit if you want a second board next to Naukrigulf or Bayt. Skip the paid boosts until you have tried the free version for a few weeks.
8. Dubai Careers
Dubai Careers is the official app for Dubai Government jobs. Departments such as RTA, the Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Municipality post their jobs here, and you apply with one profile and CV. It has been open to expats since it launched, though Emiratis get priority.
Only on Dubai Careers: Dubai Government jobs in one place
Most Dubai Government jobs are posted here and not on private job sites. At the Ru'ya Careers fair in September 2026, Dubai Government offered more than 750 jobs to Emiratis, Gulf News reported.
Choose Dubai Careers if you want a Dubai Government job. Most roles open to expats are specialist jobs. The dubaicareers.ae website uses the same account.
9. FAHR
FAHR is the app of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. Its UAE Jobs section lists jobs in federal ministries and authorities, and anyone can open it from the home page. Federal jobs go mainly to Emiratis: they held 65 per cent of federal jobs in 2025, Khaleej Times reported.
Only on FAHR: federal government jobs
UAE Jobs in FAHR is the federal government's own job list, covering ministries and authorities in every emirate.
Choose FAHR if you want a federal government job, especially as an Emirati.
10. Nafis
Nafis is the federal programme that helps Emiratis get jobs in the private sector. In the app, UAE nationals apply for jobs, training and apprenticeships, and check their Nafis support. It is run by the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, and the programme now runs to 2040.
Only on Nafis: support that tops up your salary
Nafis gives Emiratis in private sector jobs financial support on top of their salary. From September 2026, a job must pay at least AED 6,000 a month to qualify, Gulf Business reported.
Choose Nafis if you are an Emirati looking for a private sector job. Emiratis in Abu Dhabi can also apply for Abu Dhabi Government jobs in the TAMM app.
11. Skillbee
Skillbee is a job app for blue-collar and entry-level jobs in the UAE and the Gulf, such as drivers, delivery riders, security guards and hotel staff. You upload your documents, apply, and can even do the interview in the app. Employers pay to hire, so it is free for workers.
Only on Skillbee: interviews inside the app
You can do the job interview in the app, which helps if you are applying from India or another country before you move.
Skillbee is only on Android: it is not in the UAE App Store, so iPhone users cannot install it. Choose Skillbee if you want a driving, delivery, security or hotel job without going through an agent.
12. dubizzle
dubizzle is the UAE classifieds app most people know for cars and flats, and it has a busy jobs section. Small companies post quick local jobs here, often for drivers, sales staff and cleaners. You can apply to ads, or post an "I want a job" ad so employers find you.
Only on dubizzle: jobs from small local businesses
Many small shops and companies post only on dubizzle, so it has jobs you will not see on the big boards.
What to watch for: anyone can post on a classifieds site. Gulf News reported a Dubai gang that charged job seekers AED 1,000 to AED 3,000 in fake visa and training fees. Never pay anyone who replies to your ad.
Choose dubizzle if you want quick local or part-time work.
Which Job Search App Is Best in the UAE?
LinkedIn is the best job search app in the UAE for office and professional jobs, and Indeed is best for seeing the most jobs at once. Naukrigulf is the favourite of South Asian job seekers, and for a government job you should go straight to the government app, because most government jobs never appear on private sites.
| Your situation | Best app to start with | Add this one |
|---|---|---|
| Office or professional job | Bayt or GulfTalent | |
| Manager or engineer | GulfTalent | |
| From India or South Asia | Naukrigulf | Indeed |
| Hotel, retail or any job, fast | Indeed | Bayt |
| Driver, technician or hotel staff | Skillbee | dubizzle |
| Dubai Government job | Dubai Careers | |
| Federal government job | FAHR | Nafis (Emiratis) |
| Emirati in the private sector | Nafis |
The number of ratings shows which apps people in the UAE really use. Indeed and Naukrigulf are well ahead, with LinkedIn third.
Which Job Search Apps Are Free in the UAE?
All 12 apps are free to download, search and apply on. Indeed, Glassdoor, Skillbee, dubizzle and the government apps have no paid plan at all. LinkedIn, Bayt and GulfTalent sell optional premium plans in their apps, and Naukrigulf and foundit sell paid extras on their websites.
This is what each paid plan actually gives you:
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn Premium Career | AED 90 to AED 154.99 | 5 InMails a month, who viewed you over a year, Top applicant jobs, AI fit notes, LinkedIn Learning |
| Bayt Premium | AED 77.99 a month | Higher rank in CV searches, 3 application promotions a month, CV refreshed twice a week, who viewed you |
| Bayt Elite | AED 192.99 a month | Highest rank, 10 promotions a month, CV refreshed daily |
| GulfTalent Premium | From AED 124.99 a month | Stand out to employers, who viewed you, compare yourself with other applicants |
| Naukrigulf Resume Spotlight | Price not published in AED | Top of recruiter searches, a Featured tag |
| foundit Featured Profile | Price not published in AED | Higher in recruiter searches for 60 or 180 days |
Every paid plan does the same basic job: it makes you more visible to recruiters, or lets you contact them directly. None of them can make a weak CV strong, and people on every app report paying and still getting no calls.
Do not pay yet. Finish your profile and CV, turn on job alerts, and apply every day on the free apps first.
You can try one month of premium on the app where you get the most views. Cancel before it renews if it brings no calls.
Premium plans renew on their own. Turn off auto-renew in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.
Which App Is Best for High-Paying Jobs in the UAE?
For high-paying jobs, use LinkedIn and GulfTalent, and check the pay on Glassdoor before you say yes. Senior and specialist roles are often filled by recruiters who search LinkedIn profiles, and GulfTalent focuses on professionals at large Gulf employers. Bayt lets you filter jobs by salary.
Some fields are hiring faster than others. In its Hiring Index for April and May 2026, Naukrigulf found hiring in the UAE fell 23% overall, while AI and data jobs rose by about a fifth.
Three habits help you get paid what a job is worth:
- Look up the salary first. Glassdoor shows what staff in the same job at the same company say they earn.
- Ask about the whole package. In the UAE, housing, transport and flight allowances can add a lot to the basic salary.
- Get it in writing. The salary in your MOHRE offer letter is what counts, so check it before you sign.

Is Naukrigulf Legit?
Yes. Naukrigulf is a real job site, run by Info Edge, the listed Indian company behind Naukri.com, and it has more than 66,000 ratings in the UAE App Store. The jobs on it are posted by employers and recruiters, though, and a few reviewers have met fake ads that asked for money.
The rule is the same on every app: a real employer never asks you for a fee. If a "recruiter" on Naukrigulf or anywhere else asks you to pay, stop and report the ad.
How to Get a Job in the UAE Using These Apps
- Make a Gulf-style CV. Keep it to two pages, with your nationality, visa status, notice period and a phone number with WhatsApp. Bayt's CV builder can help.
- Fill in your profile on two or three apps. LinkedIn plus one board that suits you, such as Naukrigulf, Bayt or GulfTalent, is enough for most people.
- Turn on job alerts. New jobs get most applications in the first few days, so apply early.
- Check the company before the interview. Read its reviews and salaries on Glassdoor, and search its name in the National Economic Register.
- Check your offer with MOHRE. Do this before you resign from your current job or book a flight, as explained below.
Things to Keep in Mind When You Look for a Job in the UAE
Never pay to get a job in the UAE
Charging recruitment fees to workers is illegal in the UAE, and the employer must pay recruitment and travel costs, the UAE Government says. Every app in this guide is free to apply on.
Scammers still try. MOHRE, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, warned in August 2026 about fake offers that ask for fees, money transfers or bank details.
If you get an offer, check it before you do anything else:
- Check the offer letter. A real offer comes on MOHRE's approved job offer form, with a serial number and barcode, signed by an authorised manager.
- Look up the number. Use the MOHRE website or the MOHRE app, or call MOHRE on 600590000.
- Report a fake offer. Call MOHRE on 600590000, use the Dubai Police app, or call Dubai Police on 901.
A visit or tourist visa does not let you work in the UAE. Working on one can lead to fines and legal trouble, even if the "employer" told you it was fine.
