Top 10 Luxury Car Rental Companies in Dubai: Prices, Deposits and Cars Compared
The best luxury car rental companies in Dubai are Superior Car Rental, for its reviews and clear terms, and MKV Luxury, for its recent reviews. Octane has the lowest prices, with a Range Rover from about AED 494 a day with VAT, Masterkey and Trinity include VAT and ask no deposit, and VIP Rent a Car has the widest luxury menu, from Range Rover to Rolls-Royce Spectre.
The best luxury car rental companies in Dubai rent everything from a Range Rover or Mercedes S-Class to a Bentley, a Rolls-Royce or a G63, and the cheapest luxury car starts at about AED 494 a day with VAT. We compared the luxury fleets, prices, deposits and reviews of 10 rental companies, all of which rent directly rather than through a booking site.
The difference between them is less about the cars than about the terms: who asks for a deposit, who includes VAT, how many kilometres you get and what other customers say. Each company below gets the same card, so you can compare them side by side. If you mainly want a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, see our list of supercar rental companies in Dubai.
Top 10 Luxury Car Rental Companies in Dubai
In this guide you will find the 10 companies, the luxury cars each one rents and its cheapest prices, its deposit and reviews, which is cheapest for a luxury car, and what to check before you book.
Here are the 10 companies, in the order we would book them: independent reviews first, then how clearly they state their terms, then price and choice of cars. Where a company leaves VAT out, we added the 5%.
1. Superior Car Rental
Superior has rented luxury cars and supercars in Dubai since 2011 and has the best mix of reviews and clear terms here: 4.7 on Trustpilot from 34 reviews and 4.7 on Google from about 4,500. It rents saloons, SUVs and Rolls-Royces as well as supercars.
It is the only company here that prices its no-deposit option clearly. Cancelling gets you a credit note rather than a refund, so be sure of your dates.
Choose Superior if you want a company with a long record and terms you can read before you book.
2. MKV Luxury
MKV is a younger Al Quoz company, started in 2022, with the highest Trustpilot score here, 4.8 from 53 mostly recent reviews, and 4.9 on Google. It has some of the cheapest luxury SUVs among the well-reviewed companies.
Its kilometre limit is 200 a day, lower than most, and it does not say who qualifies for its zero-deposit option. If you choose full insurance, you still pay AED 7,500 to 15,000 after a major accident.
Choose MKV if recent reviews matter most and you want a Range Rover or Escalade at a low price.
3. Octane
Octane is one of the biggest rental companies in Dubai, with the lowest published luxury prices: a Range Rover from about AED 494 a day and an S-Class from about AED 788, with VAT. It has 4.6 on Trustpilot from 65 reviews and 4.9 on Google.
Its pages contradict each other on the deposit and the minimum age, and some reviewers mention extra costs and a prepayment kept after a refused car. Get the deposit and the full price confirmed in writing.
Choose Octane if price comes first and you will confirm the terms before paying.
4. Masterkey (MK Rent a Car)
Masterkey has the largest Google following here, 4.9 from more than 5,000 reviews, prices that already include VAT, and no deposit on most cars.
It has almost no Trustpilot record: its only review, from 2021, is about a deposit that was not returned. Its pages also give different prices for the same car, so confirm the price on WhatsApp.
Choose Masterkey if you want VAT-inclusive prices and no deposit.
5. Trinity Rental
Trinity rents its luxury cars at one price that includes VAT, Salik tolls and a full tank, with no deposit, and it has Maybach, Mansory and Black Badge versions.
Its short-rental prices are higher than most on the bigger cars, such as AED 2,600 a day for a G63, but drop steeply for a week or a month.
Choose Trinity if you want no deposit and nothing billed after the rental.
6. VIP Rent a Car
VIP Rent a Car, with a walk-in showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Barsha, has the biggest priced luxury menu here, from a Range Rover Velar to a Rolls-Royce Spectre, and 4.8 on Google from about 1,900 reviews.
It takes AED 200 off most cars for two-day rentals and offers a chauffeur. It does not publish its deposit or minimum age, so ask. Its Trustpilot page shows a low score, but the reviews there describe European airport bookings, not its Dubai business.
Choose VIP if you want the widest choice of luxury cars from one company, or to see the car first.
7. Brook Drive
Brook Drive, in JVC, has the clearest list of fees, from delivery to the airport charge, and 4.8 on Google from 350 reviews. It advertises no deposit on any car.
Delivery is not free, it offers no chauffeur, and its written terms still mention a deposit, so confirm "no deposit" in writing. Collecting from its JVC office avoids the delivery fee.
Choose Brook Drive if you want to know every fee before you book.
8. Uptown Rent a Car
Uptown has rented luxury cars since about 2012, with desks at the Palm Hotel and the W Hotel and 4.9 on Google from nearly 3,000 reviews.
It publishes few prices and terms, and the ones it shows are high. Ask for the deposit and kilometre limit before you book.
Choose Uptown if you are staying on the Palm or near the W and want to deal with a desk in person.
9. Phantom Rent a Car
Phantom has rented cars since 2011 and has walk-in counters at Rixos JBR, Rixos The Palm and Holiday Inn Al Barsha, with hourly rentals and chauffeurs as well as daily hire.
Its prices are on the high side and its damage terms are strict, and it leaves the deposit fee, age and kilometres blank on its site.
Choose Phantom if you want a car for a few hours or with a chauffeur, near your hotel.
10. DCR
DCR has rented luxury cars in Dubai since 2013 and refunds deposits within a day, with 250 km a day and free delivery in Dubai.
It has no visible Google rating or Trustpilot page, and its online terms page still contains draft notes, so read the contract you sign.
Choose DCR if you want a Bentley at a low price and a quick deposit refund.
Companies we left out
Renty now describes itself as a platform for other companies' cars. Silverstone and Rotana Star have Trustpilot scores of 2.5 and 2.0 with deposit complaints. Lux Motors treats every booking as a final sale with no refunds. Edel & Stark rents luxury cars but publishes no Dubai prices.
Which Is the Cheapest Luxury Car Rental in Dubai?
Octane has the cheapest luxury car rental in Dubai, with a Range Rover from about AED 494 a day with VAT, followed by Range Rover Velars at MKV and VIP for AED 499. A Mercedes S-Class starts at about AED 788 at Octane, and a Cadillac Escalade at AED 699 at MKV.
For a specific car, see our guides to renting a Rolls-Royce in Dubai and to luxury car rental with no deposit.
Is It Worth Renting a Luxury Car in Dubai?
It is worth it for a short stay, a special occasion or a business trip, when the car is part of the experience. A Range Rover or an Escalade costs little more a day than many ordinary SUVs from smaller firms, and an S-Class is far more comfortable for long drives to Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah. For a month or more, compare the monthly rate with leasing, as long rentals cost much less a day.
Before You Book a Luxury Car in Dubai
- Ask for the price with VAT. Five of these 10 companies do not say whether it is included.
- Confirm the deposit in writing. Several say "no deposit" on one page and something else in their terms.
- Check the kilometre limit. From 150 to 250 km a day, with a charge for each extra kilometre.
- Ask about the excess. What you pay if the car is damaged, which most companies only tell you if you ask.
- Film the car on delivery. All round, with the fuel and kilometre readings, before you sign.
