Eleven apps cover most of the discounts you can get in Dubai, and The Entertainer and Fazaa still save people the most. Esaad, the Dubai Police card, is also being opened to arriving flydubai passengers at a special price.

Some of these apps are membership cards, some sell one-off deals, and some pay you back in points. Which one saves you money depends on what you spend on: meals out, days out with the kids, or the weekly shop.

Choose U By Emaar if you often go to Emaar cinemas, attractions or hotels.

Which App Gives the Most Discounts in Dubai?

The Entertainer gives the most discounts for meals out and attractions, and Fazaa gives the most for families, because it is free in 2026. For everything else, the best app depends on what you are buying:

Which Discount App Is Best for Food in Dubai?

For eating out, The Entertainer is best; for food delivery, Smiles is best. A buy one get one free offer works out at 50% off when two people order main courses of a similar price, and The Entertainer, Smiles and The Voucher App all give this kind of deal.

  • Smiles gives buy one get one free vouchers and, with Smiles Unlimited, free delivery.
  • The Voucher App gives two-for-one vouchers without a membership, for now.

If you mostly order in, a delivery subscription may save more. See our guide to food delivery apps in Dubai.

How to Get a Free Fazaa Card for Your Family

Any resident family with at least one child can apply for a free Fazaa card until 31 December 2026, Emirati or expat. One membership is given per family, in the name of the parent who applies.

  1. Have the Emirates IDs ready. You need the IDs of both parents and of one child. Take clear photos: blurry ID scans are a common reason sign-up fails.
  2. Fill in the family form. Use the Year of the Family form linked from the Fazaa website or its official Instagram, and check that it is still open.
  3. Wait for approval. Approval takes up to 72 working hours, Gulf News reported.
  4. Activate the card in the Fazaa app. Download Fazaa, sign in with the same details, and your digital card appears in the app.

The free membership ends on 31 December 2026. Some reviewers say renewing only offered a paid upgrade, so do not count on it staying free.

Things to Keep in Mind When You Use Discount Apps in Dubai

A few rules catch people out:

  • One discount at a time. Emaar's terms for Fazaa and Esaad say the offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
  • Some offers work at the counter only. The Fazaa and Esaad offers at Emaar venues are not valid online, and the ticket is for that day only.
  • Check the dates. Cobone and Groupon vouchers expire, and many offers do not work on public holidays.
  • Compare with the venue's own price. A ticket on one app can be cheaper on another, or on the venue's website during a sale.
