1. Pilot & Car
Pilot & Car is a Dubai chauffeur company with the lowest hourly price we found, from AED 90 an hour with a two-hour minimum, and cars from a Toyota Highlander to a Mercedes S-Class. Fuel, Salik and parking are included.
The hourly price includes only 20 km an hour, so it suits city trips rather than long drives, and it does not say whether VAT is included. Its site shows a 4.9 Trustpilot badge, but Trustpilot itself has only a handful of reviews.
Choose Pilot & Car if you need a driver for a few hours around the city.
2. OneClickDrive (cars by Wellcare Limousines)
OneClickDrive's chauffeur section books cars from Wellcare Limousines, from a BYD Han to a Rolls-Royce, with fuel, Salik and VAT all included in the price. It is the clearest all-in price for a full day.
You book five or ten hours, and an extra hour in a Lexus costs about AED 73. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pick-up.
Choose OneClickDrive if you want a full day with one price and nothing added later.
3. Saadat Rent
Saadat Rent has the cheapest full day with a driver: AED 399 for 10 hours in a Hyundai Elantra, AED 479 in a Toyota Camry, with no kilometre limit.
It sells only 10-hour packages, and it does not say whether VAT or Salik tolls are included, while its wording on fuel is vague. Ask for the full price for your plan before you book.
Choose Saadat Rent if you want a driver for the whole day at the lowest price and do not need a luxury car.
4. Friends Car Rental
Friends Car Rental offers five- and ten-hour packages in everything from a Mercedes C200 to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, with 250 to 350 km a day included.
One of its pages says fuel and Salik are included and another says they are not, so confirm before you book. Its prices exclude 5% VAT.
Choose Friends if you want a specific luxury car, such as an S-Class or a Cullinan, for a day.
5. Blacklane
Blacklane is an international chauffeur app that books a car with driver by the hour, from two to 24 hours, in business, first-class or van categories. Tolls, taxes and tips are included in the price.
It shows prices only in the app, and its own pages disagree on the kilometres included, 40 an hour on one and 20 on another. Its Trustpilot score is 4.5 from more than 8,600 reviews, but that covers every city it works in.
Choose Blacklane if you want a known international brand and to book and pay in an app.
6. CalibRide
CalibRide is a chauffeur service in Jebel Ali that is strong on Abu Dhabi: AED 550 one way from Dubai, or AED 1,500 for a 10-hour return trip with the driver waiting.
It is the best choice for a day in Abu Dhabi, such as a visit to the Grand Mosque or Yas Island, because the driver waits for you and brings you back. It does not say whether VAT is included.
Choose CalibRide if you want a driver for a full day out in Abu Dhabi.
7. Al Baron Tourism
Al Baron Tourism is a tour company with the cheapest Dubai to Abu Dhabi car with driver: from AED 400 one way in a saloon, or AED 700 for a same-day return, with fuel and tolls included.
It also sells a full-day Abu Dhabi tour from AED 750. Its reviews are those it shows on its own site, so ask for the final price in writing.
Choose Al Baron if you just need to get from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, or back, at the lowest price.
8. Daytrip
Daytrip is a booking site for fixed-price private transfers between cities, with door-to-door pick-up and flight tracking for airport runs.
Prices are shown in US dollars, from about USD 137 to 202 a car. It has 5.0 on Tripadvisor from more than 5,300 reviews and 4.6 on Trustpilot, though both cover all its routes, not only Dubai.
Choose Daytrip if you want a fixed price booked online, with reviews you can check.
Other options
Dubai Taxi's limousines can be hired by the hour in its app, inside Dubai only; prices reported by others are AED 400 for three hours and AED 1,200 for 12, but we could not confirm them on Dubai Taxi's own site. Tour sites such as Headout sell a 10-hour car with driver for about AED 550, without naming the company that provides it.
