Diwali Catering in Dubai 2026: 8 Caterers With Menus and Price per Person
Diwali catering in Dubai costs from AED 50 a guest for a vegetarian chaat menu to AED 210 for a buffet with three live counters. Most caterers ask for 20 to 50 guests at least, and five of the eight compared here cook Jain food, including Cater Inc and Bikanervala's CateringUAE.
Three Dubai caterers have published Diwali menus for 2026, and five more are taking Diwali orders. The five include Bikanervala's CateringUAE and MyGovinda's, which cook Indian party food all year. The weekend of Diwali night, Sunday 8 November, fills up first. Ask for your quotes early.

The Best Diwali Caterers in Dubai, Compared
How did we rank them? We looked at what you get for the money, how clearly the prices are shown, and whether the kitchen can cook for Jain and vegetarian guests. The first four publish their prices. The last four give you a quote by phone or through a form.
1. Cater Inc, Dubai and the Northern Emirates
Cater Inc is the event catering arm of The Royal Orchid Group. The group opened its first Indian restaurant in Abu Dhabi in 1985. Three caterers have a Diwali 2026 page, and Cater Inc is the only one that prices every extra. Every package comes with at least one live counter, such as chaat (tangy Indian street snacks), tandoor or live jalebi. The sweets come from the mithai (Indian sweets) maker Chhappan Bhog.
Nothing is hidden, and that is what we like most. For 50 guests on the Premium package, the page shows AED 9,975 all in, with setup and VAT. Will meat-eaters and Jain guests share the same table? Cater Inc suits that party, because it cooks the Jain food apart. Building a menu on its website is free. Price your party there first, then message the team on WhatsApp.
2. CateringUAE by Bikanervala, all seven emirates
CateringUAE is the catering service of Bikanervala, the Indian sweets and snacks chain. The food comes from Bikanervala's own kitchens, and nothing on the menu is meat. Egg-free food is possible too. The Jain dishes are made without onion, garlic or root vegetables.
The Signature buffet is the best value on this page. For AED 110 a guest, you get five starters, a live chaat counter, six mains with biryani, and three desserts with paan (a sweet betel-leaf treat). Staff come to serve it all. For 50 guests, that comes to AED 5,500. The page does not say whether VAT and delivery are included, so ask before you agree.
3. MyGovinda's, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
MyGovinda's is a vegetarian restaurant chain, and its kitchen never uses onion or garlic. Guests who keep a strict diet can eat everything on the table. Want to taste the food before you order? It has four branches in Dubai:
- JLT
- Karama
- Silicon Oasis
- Al Arjan
Its catering comes in five fixed packages. The cheapest is the chaat menu, with three chaat items, a starter and a dessert for AED 50 a guest. That is the lowest price on this page.
Want a full meal instead? Compare its AED 80 Economic package with Bikanervala's AED 65 buffet. The minimum is 35 guests, which is lower than at most caterers here. Call +971 54 414 5660 or use the form. Ask which dishes each package includes, because the page only shows how many dishes you get.
4. myCHEF, Dubai
myCHEF is a Dubai private-chef company that also caters. Its Diwali page covers North and South Indian food, with a table of sweets. It is the easiest choice for a small home party, because the drop-off menu starts at 10 guests. The food arrives ready, and you serve it yourself.
Book early. myCHEF asks for four to six weeks' notice for Diwali. For a party on 7 or 8 November, first ask whether a team is still free. It answers on WhatsApp from 9am to 9pm. Do you live in a flat? Then remember that a live tandoor or chaat station needs outdoor space.
5. Catering Service Dubai, Al Barsha
Catering Service Dubai is a caterer in Al Barsha, and its Diwali page plans the food day by day:
- Dhanteras, 6 November: an office buffet with boxes of mithai
- Choti Diwali: a chaat counter and finger food
- Lakshmi Puja: a vegetarian buffet, or a satvik one with simple, pure vegetarian food
It suits office parties best, because it keeps the vegetarian dishes clearly apart.
It does not publish a Diwali price. Its own guide puts Dubai catering at AED 35 to AED 150 a guest, so ask for a written quote for your number of guests. Planning late? This caterer can help. It says it sends quotes within two hours and needs only one to two weeks' notice for a small event.
6. Gazebo Catering, Dubai and Sharjah
Gazebo is the Indian restaurant chain known for its dum biryani, which is slow-cooked in a sealed pot. Its catering arm brings the same Mughlai food, the rich North Indian cooking of kebabs and curries, to your party. Choose it if most of your guests eat meat. Each of its eight set menus pairs kebabs, a chicken or mutton curry and biryani with one or two vegetable dishes and a sweet.
Gazebo does not print its prices, and its pages say nothing about Jain food. It does have its own phone line for Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. Few caterers here have one, so it helps if your party is outside Dubai.
7. Patiala House, Studio City and Al Karama
Patiala House is a Punjabi restaurant in Studio City and Al Karama that caters for parties. Choose it if you want a tasting before you decide. Its live counters cook chaat, dosa and tandoor starters in front of your guests. A home party then feels like a wedding buffet.
Patiala House asks for two to four weeks' notice. If your party is on the Diwali weekend, ask now. The price is agreed when you book, so get it in writing.
8. Bol Gappa, Al Karama and Riverland
Bol Gappa is an Indian street-food restaurant in Al Karama and at Riverland. People book it for one thing: its live chaat counter. Reviews on its own website mention a Diwali party and a fully vegetarian office Diwali celebration that it catered.
Is chaat the star of your party? Then Bol Gappa is your caterer. You can also book its counter next to a buffet from another caterer. Nothing is priced online, so build your menu on its website and ask for a quote.
More Diwali Caterers in Dubai With Prices on Request
These caterers also take orders for Indian parties. They have no Diwali menu and publish no prices, so they are not in our list. Ordering late? Look at Careem's catering service. It takes orders only one to three days ahead.
Diwali Catering Prices per Person in Dubai
Here is every price per guest the caterers publish, from the cheapest up. Green is AED 80 or less. Blue is AED 81 to AED 149, and orange is AED 150 or more.
The price per guest is only part of the bill. Watch for these extras:
- Cater Inc: adds 5% VAT and a setup fee of AED 500 for up to 50 guests
- myCHEF: adds 5% VAT
- CateringUAE: does not say whether VAT is included
So what does a party of 50 really cost? Here is the full bill at five of these prices:
The cheapest line is not always the best deal. MyGovinda's Economic package brings you the food. For AED 30 more a guest, CateringUAE's Signature buffet adds a live chaat counter and staff to serve. Cater Inc costs the most. But its total already includes setup, VAT and the chefs at its live counters, so there is nothing more to pay.
Which Diwali Caterer in Dubai Suits Your Party?
Start with three questions. Who is eating? How many are coming? How much do you want to spend on each guest? Find your answer below. The number in brackets is the caterer's place in our list.
Jain and Pure Vegetarian Diwali Catering in Dubai
Many Diwali tables in Dubai are fully vegetarian. Some guests go further and eat only Jain food. Jain food leaves out onion, garlic and root vegetables such as potato, carrot and beetroot. So a normal vegetarian curry is often not enough.
Five of the eight caterers say they cook Jain food. Two of them, CateringUAE and MyGovinda's, serve no meat at all, so their whole kitchen is vegetarian. Here is what each of the five offers:
One question to ask about Jain food
"Is the Jain food cooked on a separate line, with separate pots and utensils?" Cater Inc and CateringUAE say yes on their websites. Ask the others the same question before you book.
Diwali Catering in Sharjah
Five caterers on this page also cook for parties in Sharjah:
- Gazebo Catering has its own line for Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah: 055 597 5265.
- MyGovinda's caters in Sharjah and has a branch there. The Sharjah number is 055 681 4747.
- CateringUAE by Bikanervala delivers to all seven emirates.
- Catering Service Dubai names Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah among its areas.
- Cater Inc lists Sharjah and the Northern Emirates on its Indian catering page.
Ask about delivery to Sharjah when you ask for the quote. None of these caterers publishes a separate charge for it.
