Mammootty will be in Sharjah on Saturday 12 September 2026. Anyone in the UAE who wants to be part of that night has six ticket options to choose from.
They run from Dh50 to Dh1,000. That’s a Dh950 gap for the same room on the same evening.
So the question is obvious. Which Rajakeeyam ticket should you buy?
We went through the booking page tier by tier to find out. What we found changes how you’d spend the money.
Mammootty Will Be in Sharjah on Saturday 12 September
The night is called Rajakeeyam, and it runs at Expo Centre Sharjah, Halls 2 and 4. Doors open at 4pm, the show starts at 6.30pm and the programme ends at 11.30pm.
Malayalam cinema calls Mammootty its Mega Star. Most Malayalis just say Mammukka, and Platinumlist bills him as a Pan Indian Actor with eleven Kerala State Film Awards behind him.
He turns 75 five days before the show. India gave him the Padma Bhushan in January 2026, on top of the Padma Shri he took in 1998.
Thirteen more names share the stage with him. Two of them are directors Hariharan and Adoor Gopalakrishnan, who made the films that won Mammootty his National Awards.
There Are Six Rajakeeyam Ticket Options
Here’s every tier as the Platinumlist booking page lists it, cheapest first.
| Tier | Price | Seating | What the page says you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Dh50 | Unreserved | Nothing stated |
| Silver | Dh100 | Unreserved | Nothing stated |
| Gold | Dh150 | Unreserved | Nothing stated |
| Platinum | Dh300 | Unreserved | Nothing stated |
| Diamond | Dh500 | Unreserved | Nothing stated |
| Titanium | Dh1,000 | Unreserved | Rows 2, 3 and 4, with sofa seating |
But What Does Each Ticket Actually Get You?
Only one of the six tells you. We opened every tier in the checkout, and Titanium is the only one carrying a description, through a “More info” link the other five don’t have.
THE ONLY TIER THAT SAYS WHERE YOU SIT
Titanium, Dh1,000 “( Row 2, 3,4) with Sofa seating” Platinumlist’s own wording, in full. Nothing was cut.
So Dh1,000 buys you a sofa in the third row, give or take a row either side. Everything below it buys a price and a colour.
And here’s what makes that matter. All six tiers are unreserved, Titanium included, so nobody gets a numbered seat.
What you’re paying for, tier by tier
Green means the page tells you something. Grey means it doesn’t.
Unreserved means first come, first served inside your block. Your tier decides which block you’re in, and your arrival time decides the row you get within it.
⚠️ One label nobody explains
Every tier carries a small “2+” tag on the checkout, and the page never says what it means. It isn’t a minimum order, because we reached a working checkout with a single Dh50 ticket. Ask Platinumlist before you book if you’re bringing a small child.
Which Rajakeeyam Ticket Should You Buy?
Pick the cheap end or the top end, and think hard before you land in the middle. That’s the honest read of a page where five of six tiers describe nothing.
Your tier, your bill, your arrival time
Pick a tier and a headcount. How many tickets
One more thing worth knowing before you commit. Platinumlist runs a resale option here, so you can pass a ticket to another fan if your plans change.
How Does Rajakeeyam Fit With Onam and Onamamangam?
They’re three separate things, and the names get muddled easily. Here’s the order they happen in.
Different organisers, different tickets, six days apart. Buying for one gets you nothing at the other.
The UAE holds its Onam gatherings across the weekends after the festival, because Onam isn’t a public holiday here. That’s why both events sit in September rather than August.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Rajakeeyam ticket should I buy?
Gold at Dh150 suits most people, as the top of the affordable band, and Dh600 covers a family of four. Bronze at Dh50 works if you arrive when doors open at 4pm. Titanium at Dh1,000 is the only tier that states a position, listed as rows 2, 3 and 4 with sofa seating. Platinum at Dh300 and Diamond at Dh500 are hardest to justify, because neither states a location and neither gives a reserved seat.
What are the Rajakeeyam ticket prices?
Six tiers are on sale through Platinumlist. Bronze costs Dh50, Silver Dh100, Gold Dh150, Platinum Dh300, Diamond Dh500 and Titanium Dh1,000. The booking page marks every one of them as unreserved seating. Single tickets can be bought, so there is no minimum order of two despite the 2+ label shown against each tier.
What does the Dh1,000 Titanium ticket include?
Titanium is the only tier with a description on the booking page. Its More info note reads, in full, rows 2, 3 and 4 with sofa seating. No other tier carries any description at all. Titanium is still marked unreserved seating like the rest, so it places you in the front block with a sofa rather than assigning you a numbered seat.
Are Rajakeeyam tickets reserved seating?
No. All six tiers are marked unreserved seating on the Platinumlist checkout, Titanium included. You buy a zone rather than a numbered seat, and inside that zone it runs first come, first served. Your tier decides which block you sit in and your arrival time decides your row within it. That makes the gap between 4pm doors and the 6.30pm start worth using.
What time does Rajakeeyam start and finish?
Doors open at 4pm on Saturday 12 September 2026, the show starts at 6.30pm and the listing gives an end time of 11.30pm. That makes it a seven-and-a-half hour window if you arrive at doors. Because every tier is unreserved, arriving around 4.30pm gets you the front of your block, while 6pm leaves you the back of it. Eat before you travel.
Who is Mammootty?
Mammootty is the actor Malayalam cinema calls its Mega Star, known to Malayalis as Mammukka. Platinumlist bills him as a Pan Indian Actor, with National Film Awards for Best Actor and eleven Kerala State Film Awards to his name. India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 1998 and the Padma Bhushan in January 2026. He turns 75 on 7 September 2026, five days before the Sharjah show.
Is Rajakeeyam the same as Onamamangam?
No, they are two separate events six days apart at the same venue. Onamamangam runs on 6 September as a community Onam celebration with a sadhya for more than 8,000 guests, with tickets from Dh65. Rajakeeyam runs on 12 September as a tribute to fifty years of Mammootty, with no sadhya. Different organisers and different tickets, so buying for one gets you nothing at the other.
Can I resell a Rajakeeyam ticket if I cannot go?
Yes. Platinumlist runs a resale option on this event, letting you exchange your ticket with another fan rather than losing the money. That takes some risk out of booking early for the tier you want. Buy through Platinumlist itself, and if a forwarded message sends you to a personal payment link or another site, do not use it.
