Big 5 Global 2026 (The Big 5 Dubai): Dates, Location
Big 5 Global, also known as The Big 5 Dubai, is a yearly construction and building trade show. It runs from Monday 23 to Thursday 26 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. A visitor ticket costs AED 150 online, there is no free registration, and under-21s are not admitted.
Big 5 Global 2026 tickets now cost less. The official ticket page shows AED 250 crossed out on the visitor ticket, with a lower online price beside it, and the Delegate, VIP and ASHRAE tickets are cheaper too.
The organiser has not given an end date for the offer, but prices will go up at the door from 23 November. The exhibitor list and the floor plan are already online, so you can plan which stands to visit now.

What Is Big 5 Global?
Big 5 Global is a trade show for the construction industry, held every year at Dubai World Trade Centre. For four days, companies that make building materials, machines, cooling systems, tools and software fill the halls. People who build, design and manage buildings walk the stands to find suppliers, see new products and do business.
People call it by several names, and The Big 5, The Big 5 Dubai and the Big 5 show all mean the same event. Big 5 Global is the official name. The organiser, dmg events, runs trade shows in the Gulf and beyond, including smaller "Big 5 Construct" shows in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kenya and other countries. So make sure you are reading about the Dubai one.
So who goes? People who work in or with construction. It is a work event, not a family day out, and the visitors include:
- engineers and architects
- contractors and developers
- buyers and suppliers
- facility managers
The organiser gives these figures for the show:
- more than 1,800 exhibitors
- more than 65,000 visitors
- people from more than 165 countries
How does it work? The show has three parts:
- Exhibition halls: your ticket lets you into all of them, and they hold seven smaller shows on one subject each, such as heavy machinery or stone.
- Talks: these will run on three stages all day, and your ticket covers them too.
- Summits: senior leaders can pay more to attend these in a separate ballroom.

Big 5 Global 2026 Dates and Timings
Big 5 Global 2026 will run from Monday 23 to Thursday 26 November 2026. All four days are working days, so many visitors come for one or two days during the week.
The hours will change from day to day:
- Monday 23 November: 11am to 6pm, so the halls open one hour later.
- Tuesday and Wednesday: 10am to 6pm, the longest days.
- Thursday 26 November: 10am to 5pm, so the halls close one hour earlier.
Each day also has a different set of talks, so the best day for you depends on your work. Here are the four days:
So which day should you go? If you want the full day on the floor, Tuesday or Wednesday gives you the most hours. After that, pick the day by your work:
- Tuesday: fire safety, codes or mapping.
- Wednesday: architecture, sustainability or startups.
- Thursday: concrete and facility management, but remember that the halls close at 5pm that day.
The organiser has not given a last-entry time. The show fills most of the venue, so plan to arrive at least two hours before closing.
Big 5 Global 2026 Location
Big 5 Global 2026 will take place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), on Sheikh Zayed Road in the Trade Centre area, right next to World Trade Centre Metro station. If you search "Dubai World Trade Centre" in your maps app, it takes you to the right place.
The show will fill most of the halls at DWTC. The official 2026 floor plan shows stands in all of these:
- Halls 1 to 8
- Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 to 3
- Za'abeel Halls 1 to 6
- Sheikh Rashid Hall
- Concourse 1 and Concourse 2: the long corridors that join the halls.
So expect a lot of walking and wear comfortable shoes.
How to get to Big 5 Global
The organiser recommends the Metro, and for most people it is the easiest way. Here are the four options:
- By Metro: get off at World Trade Centre station on the Red Line. You need a Nol card with enough credit. Follow the signs to the exhibition halls.
- By taxi or Careem: enter the code BIG5GLOBAL2026 in the Careem app at checkout. It works only for rides to or from DWTC. To book a metered taxi, call 04 208 0808.
- By bus: routes 27 and 29 stop outside the Novotel hotel. The Convention Gate entrance is right next to it.
- By car: DWTC car parks charge event rates, and the organiser has not published the rates for Big 5 week. As a guide, the Exhibitions Street car park charged AED 100 for the first hour during GITEX in October 2025. The organiser's travel page has a DWTC parking map with every car park and gate.
Our guide to getting to Dubai World Trade Centre, written for another show at the same venue, explains the car parks, the entrances and the walk from the Metro in more detail.
Big 5 Global 2026 Ticket Price
A Big 5 Global 2026 visitor ticket costs AED 150 online right now. One ticket covers all four days. It gets you into all the exhibition halls and the seven shows inside them, and it also covers the Big 5 Talks on the three stages and the event app.
The official ticket page shows every price with a higher price crossed out next to it. For the visitor ticket, the crossed-out price is AED 250 and the current one is AED 150, so you save 40%. The bigger early-bird offer, of up to 60% off, ended on 15 October. Onsite prices will start on 23 November, and the organiser says "prices go up at the door" without giving the onsite figure. So buy online before Monday 23 November.
There are four tickets in all:
Not sure which one you need? Most visitors only need the visitor ticket, and these three questions will help you decide:
How to buy a Big 5 Global ticket
- Open the Big 5 Global ticket page.
- Find the ticket you want and press GET YOUR TICKET NOW under its price. This opens the organiser's ticket shop at reg.big5global.com.
- Fill in your details and pay. If you chose a Delegate ticket, you pick your summit at this stage.
- Look for the confirmation email, which comes with your invoice.
Keep two things in mind before you pay. Tickets cannot be refunded once you buy them, and a ticket will not get anyone under 21 through the door. We cover the age rule below.
Is There Free Registration for Big 5 Global 2026?
No. There is no free visitor registration for Big 5 Global 2026. The official ticket page lists four paid tickets and no free option.
Many people still search for "Big 5 Dubai free registration", and it is easy to see why. Older listings on trade-fair websites still say the show is "free to attend" for visitors who register early. Those pages describe earlier editions and are out of date.
There is one way some people get in for free. In past years, some exhibitors sent their customers complimentary tickets. If a supplier you work with is exhibiting, ask them: "Do you have a guest ticket or invitation code for Big 5 Global?" If they have none, the AED 150 online ticket is the cheapest way in. There is no public promo code on the official site.
Can Under-21s Attend Big 5 Global?
No. Big 5 Global is open only to visitors aged 21 and over. The organiser says people under 21 "will not be admitted, even if they hold a ticket".
This rule matters most for students, interns, young engineers and parents who plan to bring a teenager. Because you cannot get a refund, check every person's age before you buy. The organiser has not said which ID staff will check at the door, so carry your Emirates ID or passport.
What's On at Big 5 Global 2026
Your visitor ticket gets you into most of the show. The seven co-located shows, the three talk stages and the Impact Trail are all included. Only the summits and the ASHRAE training need a higher ticket, and the awards night is by invitation.
The seven shows are groups of stands on one subject, inside the same halls. Heavy, the machinery show, will have live demos. Across all the halls, the show covers 17 product sectors, from interiors and glass to solar products and modular buildings.
The Big 5 Talks come with every ticket and count for CPD, the training hours many engineers and architects must log each year. The organiser lists more than 130 sessions over the four days, and the Agenda page of the official site has the full times.
The Big 5 Global Impact Trail takes you through the halls to stands with sustainable products. Follow its signs if you want to source greener materials.
Big 5 Global 2026 Exhibitor List and Floor Plan
The Big 5 Global 2026 exhibitor list is on the official website, and it shows each company's hall and stand number. For example, a listing reads "Stand No- SS1 E144, Sheikh Saeed Hall 1". You can search it by company name before you go.
The floor plan PDF shows the halls and lists the 17 product sectors. Use the two together:
- Search the exhibitor list for the companies you want to meet, and write down each stand number.
- Open the floor plan and mark which hall each stand is in.
- Group your visits by hall, so you do not walk back and forth between Za'abeel and Sheikh Saeed.
On the day, use the Big 5 Global app. It comes with your ticket and has the map and the exhibitor search.
Things to Know Before You Go
- It is a business show. Bring business cards, or a digital card on your phone. Exhibitors will want to know your company and your role.
- There is no published dress code. Most visitors wear office clothes. Wear shoes you can walk in all day.
- Travel offers: Emirates, the organiser's flight partner, gives a discount with code EVE6BG6 for travel between 18 November and 11 December 2026, and EventBeds is the hotel partner.
- It is the Dubai show. Big 5 Construct Saudi and the other Big 5 Construct shows are separate events in other countries, with their own dates and tickets.
- Questions: the organiser's email is info@big5global.com. For car parks and access at the venue, DWTC's number is 800 3982.
