What Is the Dubai International Boat Show?

The Dubai International Boat Show is the city's yearly yacht and boating show. For five days, boat builders, yacht brokers and marine brands fill the harbour and the halls beside it. You can walk past superyachts, compare new boats, watch watersports shows and look at diving gear, all with one ticket.

Dubai World Trade Centre runs the show, and Dubai Harbour is the host venue. The 2026 show will be its 32nd edition. At the last edition, the organiser counted these numbers:

  • Visitors: more than 32,000.
  • Brands: more than 1,000.
  • Boats on display: more than 200.

It works on two levels. For most visitors it is a day out: you buy a ticket, walk the pontoons and enjoy the sunset over the water. For the industry it is a trade fair, where shipyards and brokers meet buyers and sign deals. That is why trade visitors, boat owners, captains and divers can get in free once the organiser approves them.

This short official video shows the show and its new November dates:

Dubai Boat Show 2026 Dates and Timings

The Dubai Boat Show 2026 will run from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November 2026. The gates open at 3pm every day. They close at 8pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and at 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

So which day should you pick? Wednesday and Thursday are working days, so the pontoons will usually be less crowded. On Friday and Saturday the show stays open an hour later, so you get more time after sunset.

Why the show moved from April to November

Dubai World Trade Centre first set the 2026 show for 8 to 12 April 2026, then postponed it after the regional conflict that began in late February. It later said the show will stay in November from now on.

Some old pages, including parts of the official site, still show the April dates. The official site lists some details two ways, and we explain each one further down.

Dubai Boat Show 2026 Tickets

Dubai Boat Show tickets start from AED 60, and you buy them online on Platinumlist, the ticket site that the official site links to. Visit Dubai lists prices from AED 62 to AED 145.68, so the most expensive ticket costs a little over twice the cheapest.

How to buy a ticket

On Platinumlist, you only see the ticket types and their prices once you open the ticket list. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Platinumlist page. Go to Dubai International Boat Show tickets on Platinumlist. Check that the heading says 25 to 29 November.
  2. Press "Select tickets". The ticket types, the days and the prices appear in a list.
  3. Choose your day and ticket. Read what each ticket includes before you add it to the basket.
  4. Pay and keep the ticket on your phone. The ticket arrives by email and in your Platinumlist account.

The organiser has not published a child price. It says the show suits families and children, but neither the official site nor the Platinumlist page gives an age rule. So before you buy for children, check the ticket list for a child or family ticket.

How to register for free entry

Free entry is for people with a document that proves why they are there. This is what each group needs to show:

  • Trade visitors: proof that you work in the industry. You also get B2B matchmaking, where the show sets up business meetings for you.
  • Boat owners: your boat registration card. You also get a VIP tour and the VIP Lounge.
  • Captains: your captain licence.
  • Divers: your diver licence.

Each group has a separate "Register Now" button on the official tickets and registration page. Fill in the form, upload your document and wait for the approval email. Do this well before 25 November, because a registration is not valid until the organiser approves it.

What to See at the Dubai Boat Show 2026

The show has two halves: the boats on the water and the halls on land. Your ticket covers both, apart from the lounges for boat owners, captains and invited guests. This is what you will find in each area:

From the official show pages, read 1 November 2026. Every area will be open on all five days.

Superyachts and new launches

Superyacht Avenue is the part most people come for. The biggest yachts at the show will be moored stern-to, with their back decks facing the pontoon you walk along. The Marina Display next door will have new flybridge yachts, sports cruisers, catamarans and tenders.

The headline boat this year is expected to be the Gulf Craft Majesty 145, a 45-metre yacht from the UAE's own shipyard, listed as a world debut. Recent shows brought the world debut of the Majesty 112 Terrace in 2025 and the Middle East debut of the Azimut S7 in 2024. Benetti, Heesen, Bavaria and Ferretti are on the official 2026 exhibitor list.

Boarding is not promised. Builders and brokers decide who steps aboard, and on the biggest yachts they keep visits for buyers with an appointment. If you are serious, book a viewing at the builder's stand and ask about a sea trial.

The Dive Pool

At the Dive Pool, divers will give live demonstrations of new diving equipment and techniques. Around it, the Dive Zone will have stands for dive gear and underwater technology. Children can also meet ocean-themed characters here, so it is the easiest stop if you have young children with you.

Watersports shows

Jet ski and kite surf riders will put on live shows on the water every day. These are shows to watch, not to try. The organiser says you can book a limited number of sailing and powerboat experiences in advance, so ask at the show if you want one.

A plan for a three-hour visit

Three hours is enough to see the main areas without rushing. This is the order we suggest for a first visit, so you see the boats in daylight and go indoors as it gets dark:

A three-hour visit, in the order that works
Our suggested route for a first visit. Sunset is around 5:30pm in late November.
1
3pm: arrive
Shuttle or taxi to the gate. The afternoon light is best for photos.
2
Superyacht Avenue
Walk past the biggest yachts first, before the evening crowd.
3
Marina Display
Newer and smaller boats, easy to compare side by side.
4
Watersports
Watch a jet ski or kite surf show from the waterfront.
5
Dive Pool and halls
Go indoors as the sun goes down: gear, gadgets, the Innovation Zone.
6
Sunset and dinner
Eat by the harbour, then take the shuttle back.

Dubai Boat Show Location and Visitor Parking

The Dubai Boat Show 2026 will be at Dubai Harbour, the marina between Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters, next to the Skydive Dubai drop zone. From Sheikh Zayed Road, take the exit for King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street and follow the signs to Skydive Dubai.

There will be no visitor parking at Dubai Harbour during the show. So come with a driver, leave the car somewhere else and take a free shuttle, or come by metro, tram or taxi. You have five ways to get there:

By chauffeur or limo

If you have a driver, or you book a chauffeur-driven car, this is the easiest way to arrive. The car can take you right to Dubai Harbour, like a taxi, so you skip the shuttle. Your driver cannot park at the show, so agree a pick-up time and ask them to wait nearby, for example at the Nakheel Mall paid car park on Palm Jumeirah.

If you want to book a limo through an app, Bolt's show code DIBS2026 works on its limo rides as well as its taxis. It gives 20% off, up to AED 20 a ride, from 19 November to 1 December 2026.

Park and ride from Nakheel Mall

If you drive, park at the Nakheel Mall Monorail Station on Palm Jumeirah, where parking costs AED 10 an hour. A free shuttle bus will take you to the show in about 15 minutes. At that rate, a three-hour visit plus the bus ride comes to about AED 40.

By metro or tram

Take the Red Line to Al Khail Metro Station. Cross the metro bridge to the American University bus stop on the sea side, and board the free shuttle, which takes about 8 minutes. If you come by tram, get off at Mina Seyahi and take the free shuttle from there. That ride takes about 13 minutes.

By taxi or ride app

A taxi will drop you at Dubai Harbour itself, so it is the simplest way in. Three ride apps have discount codes that work from 19 November to 1 December 2026:

  • Careem: DIBS2026C, 20% off up to AED 15 a ride
  • Uber: DIBS2026U, 20% off up to AED 15 a ride
  • Bolt: DIBS2026, 20% off up to AED 20 a ride, on limo and taxi rides

The official pages give two different numbers for how many rides each code covers, and we explain this below. The organiser has not published the 2026 shuttle times yet, so check its essential information page in the week of the show.

Where the Official Dubai Boat Show Pages Disagree

The official site still carries some text from earlier shows. Three details matter for your visit:

Parking: Skydive Dubai or no parking at all?

The official essential information page says visitors can park free at Skydive Dubai and take a free shuttle or water taxi. But that note carries the dates of the last show, 19 to 23 February 2025. The 2026 Platinumlist page says there is "strictly no visitor parking" at Dubai Harbour and lists only the Nakheel Mall park and ride. We follow the 2026 Platinumlist page. If you want to park at Skydive Dubai, ask the organiser through the Get in Touch page on boatshowdubai.com first.

Dates: April or November?

A news item and the shuttle timetable on the official site still show 8 to 12 April 2026, and so does one video on the official YouTube channel. The official show times, the tickets page and Platinumlist all say 25 to 29 November 2026, and those are the real dates.

Taxi codes: how many rides?

The official essential information page says the Careem and Uber codes cover two rides per user, and the Bolt code covers five rides. The Platinumlist page says all three codes give 20% off for two rides per day. The app shows the real limit when you enter the code, so check it there before you book.

Things to Know Before You Go

Here are the answers to the smaller questions people ask:

  • Children: families are welcome, and the Dive Pool characters and watersports shows suit children best. The organiser has not published a child price or an age rule.
  • Dress code: the organiser has not set one. Wear flat shoes for the pontoons. On many yachts you take your shoes off before you board, so shoes that slip off easily help.
  • Weather: late November afternoons are warm and the evenings by the water are cooler. Bring sun cream and a light layer.
  • Hotels: the organiser lists more than 25 partner hotels with special rates, most within 15 minutes of the harbour.
  • Abu Dhabi International Boat Show: a separate show that will run at ADNEC from 19 to 22 November 2026, the week before Dubai.
  • Dubai International Boat Show 2027: the organiser says the show will now take place in November every year. The 2027 dates have not been announced.
