Here are the five ways you can enter GITEX Global 2026 for free. Each one has its own section below, and each section says exactly what to do.

GITEX Free Pass 1: An Exhibitor's Pass Link or Code

Companies that take a stand at GITEX want visitors on that stand. So in past years they gave visitor passes to their customers and followers. Before the 2025 show, one email software company posted: "Claim your FREE PASS and meet us at Concourse 2, Stand CC2-22".

No exhibitor has posted a pass for December 2026 yet, and the organiser has not published the exhibitor list. So you cannot collect a code today. What you can do today is get ready, so that you see the offer on the day it appears.

How to get a GITEX free pass from an exhibitor: what to do now

1. Write down ten technology companies your work already uses. Think of your software, laptops, phones, internet provider, cloud and security tools. Microsoft, Google, AWS, Huawei, Dell and Cisco are among the names on GITEX show pages.
2. Find out which of them will be at GITEX Global 2026. Search each company name with "GITEX 2026". Look on the company's own website and LinkedIn page for news about its stand.
3. Follow those companies on LinkedIn and Instagram. Turn on notifications for their posts, so you do not miss a pass link.
4. Follow the show's own accounts. GITEX Global is on Instagram as @gitex_global and on X as @GITEX_GLOBAL. It is also on LinkedIn and Facebook. News about exhibitors will appear there as the show gets closer.
5. Ask your account manager now. An account manager is the person who sells to your company. Send a short message: "Will you have a stand at GITEX Global 2026? If you have visitor passes or a promo code, may I have one?"
6. Search once a week from November. Search LinkedIn and Instagram for "GITEX 2026 free pass" and "GITEX 2026 invitation". Read the date of every post, because old posts stay online.
7. Check the exhibitor list when the organiser publishes it. Choose the companies you want to meet, then repeat steps 3 and 5 for them.

Why November? Last year's offers appeared in the weeks before the show, and this year's show is in December. That is our expectation, not an announcement.

When a link or code reaches you, check three things before you use it:

GITEX Free Pass 2: Media Accreditation

If you write, film or broadcast as your job, you can apply for a press pass, and the organiser does not charge for it. The organiser must approve you.

You apply on the organiser's media registration form. The form asks for these things:

• Your publication and its website.
• The kind of media you work in.
• A LinkedIn profile or a link to your work.
• Whether you have attended before.

You must also bring your passport or Emirates ID on the day. Apply early, because the organiser gives no date for its answer.

GITEX Free Pass 3: Exhibit, Speak or Pitch

Now for the way people forget. If your company has a stand, the people who work on it get badges. A speaker who is accepted gets a badge too.

A stand costs money, so the entry is free only for the staff. But countries, free zones and accelerators often take one large stand and place startups on it.

Do you run a young company in the UAE? Ask your free zone if it will have a stand at the GITEX exhibition. For your own stand, use the organiser's Book a Stand form. You will find it under "Exhibit Now" on gitex.com. The speaker interest form is in the sources list below.

Founders can also apply for a Founder's Pass on the Expand North Star website. We do not know its price or its conditions.

GITEX Free Pass 4: A Code From Your Community or Free Zone

Groups sometimes arrange cheaper or free passes for their members. Here are two real cases from earlier shows:

The first was a discount, not a free pass. The second was for GITEX Africa, a separate event with its own tickets. They show how the system works. They do not promise the same offer in 2026.

How to get a GITEX free pass from a group: what to do now

No group has announced passes for December 2026 yet. Here is how to be first in line:

• Read the organiser's list of partner groups. The Ecosystem Partners page on gitex.com names groups with a formal link to the show. On 11 October 2026 it included Google Developer Group, IEEE, Women in AI, Global Tech Advocates, the Canada-UAE Business Council and the US-UAE Business Council.
• If you are a member of a listed group, ask it first. A place on that list does not promise free passes, but these are the groups closest to the show.
• Ask your free zone. If your company has a free zone licence, write to the free zone's events or community team.
• Ask your business council or chamber of commerce. Members often hear about show offers by email.
• Ask your university. Students and staff should ask the careers office or the student tech club.
• Ask again in November if the answer today is "not yet".

Send one short message to each group. You can copy this one:

GITEX Free Pass 5: A Spare Pass From Reddit or Social Media

Many people search for a GITEX promo code on Reddit. In past years, people offered spare passes and codes in the r/dubai and r/DubaiCentral groups.

It can work. But you are trusting a stranger, so do not make it your only plan.

How to find a spare GITEX pass: what to do

• Join r/dubai and r/DubaiCentral on Reddit now. You can then reply as soon as someone posts.
• Search both groups for "GITEX pass" and "GITEX code". Sort the results by newest. Do this every few days in the two weeks before the show.
• Reply quickly and politely. Spare passes go to the first people who ask.
• Ask your own contacts too. Post one line on LinkedIn: "Does anyone have a spare GITEX Global 2026 pass or code?"

GITEX Free Pass Promo Code: Where It Goes and Where Codes Come From

A promo code is how a free pass usually reaches a visitor. Someone is given codes, and that person gives one to you. You then type it into the official form.

The form itself says a code is possible. These are its exact words, beside the price:

“"Full amount selected. Promo code can be entered if available."”

Some people call it a GITEX discount code or a GITEX voucher code. It goes in the same box.

GITEX free registration with a promo code

A person with a free code fills in the same form as a person who pays. Here is the path:

And here is what to do at each step:

1. Open [visit.gitex.com](https://visit.gitex.com/). You will see several passes. Find the Visitor Pass card.
2. Press BUY NOW on that card. The registration form opens with the pass selected.
3. Find the panel on the right. The promo code box is under "Pass Amount".
4. Type your code and press APPLY. Typing the code is not enough.
5. Read the line "Total Including 5% VAT". It starts at the price of your pass. A code for a free pass should bring it to zero.
6. Fill in the rest of the form and submit. We did not submit the form, so we cannot describe the last screen.

Where GITEX promo codes come from

We found no public promo code on the organiser's pages. In past years, codes came from exhibitors and from groups that had an arrangement with the show. So ask a person who has a link to the show.

GITEX Student Pass

There is still no free student pass. But the ticket page now lists two paid student passes. Both are for students aged 16 or over with a valid student ID, and both are "subject to approval":

The Visitor Student Pass is the cheapest official way in. You apply for it on the ticket page with "Apply now".

Students can also use way 4. Ask your university or your student tech group if it has a code. Apart from the student passes, visitors must be 18 or older, because GITEX Dubai is a trade event for adults.

Is GITEX Global 2026 Free? What Changed on the Form

Is GITEX free? No. There is still no free visitor pass on the official ticket page. The page now lists several paid passes, from the AED 70 Visitor Student Pass to the AED 10,000 Premium Pass. None of them is free.

This is new. We read the official form and ticket page on different dates, and they showed different offers:

So in September, anyone could pick a free pass for Expand North Star, the startup and investor show inside GITEX. By 3 October that choice had gone, and it was still gone on 23 October.

Expand North Star now sits inside the paid Visitor Pass, together with LivX, the health show. Its own website offers only a form to pre-register your interest, and an application for a Founder's Pass.

GITEX Free Pass: Three Things You Will Be Told

People will give you advice about a GITEX free ticket. Some of it is out of date.

"The Expand North Star pass is free"

This was true on 15 September. It is not true now. Expand North Star is part of the paid Visitor Pass.

"A coupon site has a GITEX visitor pass promo code"

Maybe, but test it. Press APPLY and read the total line. If the total does not change, forget that code.

"Exhibitors always have free passes"

Many did in past years. But a code can be a discount and not a free pass. Only the total line tells you which one you have.

What Can Go Wrong With a GITEX Free Pass

A problem with a GITEX free visitor pass can cost you money, time or your personal data:

2. Read the total in the panel on the right.
3. Type the code and press APPLY.
4. Read the total again. Did it change?

We had no code to test. If the form asks for your details first, fill them in and check the total before you submit.

What the GITEX Visitor Pass Costs if Nothing Works

Here is the good news. If no free way works, the GITEX Visitor Pass costs AED 480 until 25 October 2026. That is less than the price in September. Students aged 16 or over can apply for the Visitor Student Pass at AED 70:
