Dubai Fashion Week Spring Summer 2027

Dubai Fashion Week 2026 will run from 22 to 26 October 2026 at Dubai Design District, and this is the Spring/Summer 2027 edition.

One thing to clear up first, because it trips almost everyone up. Dubai holds its fashion week twice a year, so 2026 already had an edition: it ran from 1 to 6 February and showed Autumn/Winter collections. That one is finished. There is a short recap of it further down, but everything else here is about October.

Below you will find the Dubai Fashion Week 2026 (SS 2027) dates, the venue and how to reach it, what the five days will actually involve, who is likely to be on the runway, and the part most pages skip — how you can and cannot get a seat.

Quick answer

Dubai Fashion Week 2026 will take place from Thursday 22 to Monday 26 October 2026 at Dubai Design District (d3). It is the Spring/Summer 2027 edition, it will focus on emerging and regional designers, and it does not sell public tickets — you get in through accreditation or a designer’s invitation. Dates 22–26 October 2026, five days Season Spring/Summer 2027 (SS27) Venue d3 Waterfront, Dubai Design District Focus Emerging designers, regional talent and the Buyers Programme Line-up Not announced yet — applications were still being reviewed in September Tickets None on public sale Earlier 2026 edition 1–6 February 2026 (Autumn/Winter 2026-27), now finished Dubai Fashion Week is co-founded by Dubai Design District (TECOM Group) and the Arab Fashion Council. Everything here was checked against the official Dubai Fashion Week site on 12 September 2026.

Dubai Fashion Week 2026

Dubai Fashion Week is the city’s only official fashion week. It is run jointly by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council. The event started life as Arab Fashion Week, held its first Dubai edition in October 2015, and took its current name in February 2023.

Over the years it has put names like Jean Paul Gaultier, Iris van Herpen, Moschino and Roberto Cavalli on a Dubai runway. The October 2026 edition will pull in a different direction, and the organisers have been clear about it: this season is built around the region’s emerging designers and around helping them find buyers.

What makes the Spring / Summer 2027 edition different

  • New names come first. The organisers have said the season is about “giving the spotlight to the region’s emerging designers and creative talent”, and about new beginnings rather than established houses.
  • Buying is part of the point. A dedicated Buyers Programme will run alongside the shows, with showroom appointments and collection previews so retailers can actually place orders rather than just watch.
  • It runs five days instead of six. February ran 1 to 6 February. October will run 22 to 26 October, one day shorter.
  • It sits at the end of the season, not the start. The February edition went before New York, London, Milan and Paris. October will come after all four, which suits an edition aimed at buyers who are already deep into their ordering.

Why the October dates changed

This is worth knowing if you have seen September dates somewhere. Dubai Fashion Week’s own runway terms page still lists the Spring/Summer 2027 edition as 1 to 7 September 2026, with a designer application deadline of 15 April 2026. Those were the original plans. On 2 September 2026 the organisers confirmed the edition would instead run from 22 to 26 October.

Dubai Fashion Week 2026 Venue

The whole week takes place at Dubai Design District, known as d3, with the main runway set up at the d3 Waterfront.

The district sits between Business Bay and Ras Al Khor, just off Al Khail Road. It was built for this kind of event, with creative studios, showrooms, galleries and restaurants in one walkable block and open space by the water for a temporary venue.

Two practical notes. Shows run late into the evening, so you will be travelling during Dubai’s busiest road hours and should allow more time than a map suggests. And if you are accredited, you are usually asked to be seated before the scheduled start — doors do close.

What to Expect at Dubai Fashion Week Spring Summer 2027

A Dubai Fashion Week is more than a runway. Four things run side by side across the five days, and which one matters to you depends on why you are going.

Runway shows and presentations
The core of the week. A runway showcase carries at least 25 looks; a smaller presentation format carries at least 8. Every collection has to be a first reveal, so nothing on the schedule will have been seen at another event.
The Buyers Programme
The reason October exists in its current shape. Retailers and buyers get showroom appointments and collection previews, so a designer’s week does not end when they leave the runway.
Talks and panels
Previous editions have carried the Threads Talks series and sessions on circularity, eco-conscious materials and representation. Expect something similar.
Partner events and pop-ups
Brand activations, hospitality takeovers and pop-up stores run across the district. Partners in recent seasons have included SOUEAST as official automobile partner, Dyson and Delano.

Dubai Fashion Week 2026 Designers: Who Will Show in October

The short answer is that no designers have been confirmed publicly yet. Applications were still with the Selection Committee in September 2026, and the official calendar page is still marked as coming soon. That is normal for this event — February’s guest designer was only announced a few weeks before the shows began.

What you can work out now is the shape of the line-up, because Dubai Fashion Week sorts designers into fixed tiers. Knowing the tiers tells you who is almost certain to appear and who is still an open question.

Permanent members
Expect to see them
Seven houses hold a standing place on the calendar and also sit on the Designers Committee, which votes on who joins future editions. They are Michael Cinco, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Mrs Keepa, BLSSD, Weinsanto and Lili Blanc.
Selected designers
The bulk of October
Everyone else on the runway gets there by applying to the Arab Fashion Council and being chosen by the Selection Committee. This is the tier the October edition is built around, so expect more new names here than usual.
Guest designers
Announced late, if at all
International houses invited to headline. Past guests include Jean Paul Gaultier, Iris van Herpen, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Carolina Herrera, Blumarine, Antonio Marras, Manish Malhotra and, in February 2026, Alberta Ferretti.
Correspondent designers
Invited from abroad
Designers from another city invited onto the official calendar, who then become eligible to apply for full membership with voting rights. The category started in January 2025 with Turkish label Les Benjamins.
School and partner slots
A few each season
Fashion schools and brand collaborations get their own places. February included FAD Institute Dubai, Polimoda, NIF Global x London School of Trends and Emergency Room x Timberland.

How to Attend Dubai Fashion Week 2026

Dubai Fashion Week does not sell general admission tickets.

There is no box office and no ticketing partner.

Seats go out through accreditation and through each designer’s own guest list, and some shows are marked strict invite only. If anyone offers you paid runway tickets, they are not selling anything official.

That still leaves four ways in, plus one that costs nothing.

ROUTE 1
Press accreditation
For working journalists, editors and photographers. Apply through the Press and Buyers section of the official site, well before the week starts, with proof of the outlet you write for.
ROUTE 2
Buyer registration
For retailers and boutique buyers, and the strongest route this October because the whole edition is built around the Buyers Programme.
ROUTE 3
A designer’s guest list
Every house gets seats to hand out. If you are a client or a stockist of a label that is showing, ask the label directly rather than the organisers.
ROUTE 4
Industry registration
Stylists, models, agencies and brand or PR teams register through the same official channels. Approval is not automatic and depends on how relevant you are to the week.
FREE
The rest of d3
Talks, pop-ups, exhibitions and the district itself stay open during show week. You will not be in the runway seats, but d3 in show week is a good evening out at no cost.

Dubai Fashion Week in February 2026

The other 2026 edition ran from 1 to 6 February and showed Autumn/Winter 2026-27. It carried 22 runway shows and presentations plus seven evening events. Italian house Alberta Ferretti opened the week on a strict invite-only night, and Indian couturier Manish Malhotra closed it on the Friday.

Three things from that week are worth carrying into October:

  • International houses now treat Dubai as a real stop. Alberta Ferretti opened with a full runway show rather than a trunk show or a pop-up, which is the clearest sign yet that European labels think the slot is worth the production cost.
  • Designers are cutting for the Gulf customer directly. Malhotra’s closing show leaned into sequinned abayas, fluid kaftans and sharp tailoring made for the GCC luxury shopper, rather than adapted for it.
  • The programme already reaches past the runway. Panels on circularity and eco-conscious materials, the Threads Talks series and an expanded buyer and showroom programme all ran alongside the shows.

How to Apply to Show at Dubai Fashion Week 2026

If you are a designer rather than a spectator, this is the part that matters. Applications for the October 2026 edition were still open in September, and applications for the March 2027 edition are open as well. Both go through the same form on the Dubai Fashion Week site.

What the rules require

To be eligible you need
  • A women’s ready-to-wear or couture collection, or a men’s ready-couture collection
  • A brand that has been running for more than three years
  • A collection that is a first reveal and has not been shown anywhere else
  • A line sheet and lookbook ready 20 days before your show
Rules for the show itself
  • A runway showcase needs at least 25 looks
  • A presentation needs at least 8 looks
  • Any look judged to copy another designer’s work gets the brand removed from the calendar
  • If you sell See-Now Buy-Now, you must hold stock or be able to produce orders within two weeks

The two stages of selection

01
You apply
One online form that takes 15 to 30 minutes. Incomplete applications are not considered at all, so fill in every field before you submit.
02
The committee decides
The jury reviews your application and tells you if you have been shortlisted. At this stage you may be asked for extra references and for physical samples to be sent to the Arab Fashion Council.

If your brand has been trading for less than three years you are not simply turned away. The official guidance is to contact the Arab Fashion Council directly for support rather than submitting the standard form.

FAQs

When is Dubai Fashion Week 2026?

Dubai Fashion Week 2026 will run from 22 to 26 October 2026 at Dubai Design District. This is the Spring/Summer 2027 edition. An earlier edition ran from 1 to 6 February 2026 and showed Autumn/Winter 2026-27 collections, so 2026 has two editions in total.

Where is Dubai Fashion Week 2026 held?

At Dubai Design District, known as d3, with the runway at the d3 Waterfront. d3 sits between Business Bay and Ras Al Khor, just off Al Khail Road. It is not served directly by the Dubai Metro. The nearest station is Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall on the Red Line, about 4 to 6 km away, and from there you take bus D03 or D03A or a 10 to 15 minute taxi.

Can I buy tickets to Dubai Fashion Week 2026?

No. Dubai Fashion Week does not sell general admission tickets and has no box office. Seats are given out through press accreditation, buyer registration, industry registration and each designer’s own guest list, and some shows are strict invite only. Talks, pop-ups and exhibitions around the district during show week are generally open to visitors at no cost.

Which designers will show at Dubai Fashion Week in October 2026?

No designers have been confirmed publicly as of mid-September 2026. Applications are still with the Selection Committee and the official calendar is marked as coming soon. The organisers have said this edition will focus on the region’s emerging designers and creative talent. The seven permanent members – Michael Cinco, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Mrs Keepa, BLSSD, Weinsanto and Lili Blanc – hold standing places on the calendar, so they are the most likely names to appear.

Why did the October 2026 dates change?

The Spring/Summer 2027 edition was originally planned for 1 to 7 September 2026, and that date still appears on Dubai Fashion Week’s runway terms page. On 2 September 2026 the organisers confirmed new dates of 22 to 26 October 2026. The move means Dubai now closes the Spring/Summer 2027 season rather than opening it, arriving about two weeks after Paris finishes.

Why is an October show called Spring/Summer 2027?

Fashion weeks are named after the season the clothes will be sold in, not the month the show takes place. Collections shown in Dubai in October 2026 will reach shops from around February 2027, which makes them Spring/Summer 2027.

Who organises Dubai Fashion Week?

It is co-founded by Dubai Design District, part of TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council, and it is the only official fashion week platform in Dubai. It began as Arab Fashion Week, which held its first Dubai edition in October 2015, and was renamed Dubai Fashion Week in February 2023.

How does a designer apply to show at Dubai Fashion Week?

You apply through the online form on the Dubai Fashion Week website. You need a women’s ready-to-wear or couture collection or a men’s ready-couture collection, at least three years of trading, a collection that has not been shown elsewhere, and a line sheet and lookbook ready 20 days before the show. A runway showcase needs at least 25 looks and a presentation at least 8. A Selection Committee reviews each application and may ask for samples. Brands trading for under three years are asked to contact the Arab Fashion Council directly.

When is the next Dubai Fashion Week after October 2026?

The next edition is the Autumn/Winter 2027-28 edition, scheduled for March 2027 at Dubai Design District. Designer applications for it are already open, though exact dates have not been published yet.
