All 14 Dubai Metro Blue Line Stations
The stations are spread across two branches and one central spine. Branch A runs from Creek (Al Jaddaf) to International City 1. Branch B runs from Centrepoint (Al Rashidiya) to International City 1. The spine continues from International City 1 to Academic City. For the full route map, see the Dubai Metro Blue Line Map.
1. Creek Interchange — Al Jaddaf
The north-west starting point of Branch A. Connects directly to the existing Green Line, making it the primary transfer point for passengers coming from Bur Dubai, Deira and the historic districts. Serves the Al Jaddaf waterfront community.
2. Dubai Festival City Station
Serves Dubai Festival City — one of the largest integrated waterfront destinations in Dubai, including Festival City Mall, IKEA, InterContinental Hotel and a residential community of 77,000 people. Currently no metro access — the Blue Line is the first connection.
3. Emaar Properties Station — Dubai Creek Harbour
The standout station of the entire Blue Line. At 74 metres, it is the world’s tallest metro station. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM) — the architecture firm behind the Burj Khalifa. Floor area: 11,000m². Daily capacity: 160,000 passengers. Serves Dubai Creek Harbour, one of the fastest-growing waterfront developments in the city, with a planned population of 200,000 by 2040.
4. Ras Al Khor Station
Serves Ras Al Khor Industrial Area — one of Dubai’s main industrial and logistics zones — and provides access to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, home to over 500 flamingos and protected under the Ramsar Convention. The first metro connection for this entire district.
5. International City 1 Station — Y-Junction Interchange
The structural heart of the Blue Line. This is where Branch A and Branch B merge, and where all trains continue south-east to Academic City. Floor area: 44,000m² — making it the largest underground station in the entire Dubai Metro network. Three Tunnel Boring Machines are excavating simultaneously from this station. Daily capacity: 350,000 passengers.
6. International City 2 Station
Serves the residential sections of International City, one of Dubai’s most densely populated affordable housing communities. Currently no metro access forces residents to rely entirely on buses and taxis.
7. International City 3 Station
Serves Dragon Mart — the world’s largest trading hub outside mainland China — and the surrounding commercial area. The station makes Dragon Mart directly accessible by metro for the first time, removing the need for long bus connections from existing lines.
8. Dubai Silicon Oasis Station
Serves Dubai Silicon Oasis — a government-owned tech hub and free zone with 50,000+ workers and a resident population of over 70,000. Currently no metro access. The station sits opposite Fakeeh University Hospital, making it a dual-purpose medical and employment hub stop.
9. Academic City Station
The southern end of the Blue Line spine. Serves Dubai Academic City — home to over 27 universities and higher education institutions with 50,000+ students. No current metro access. Also planned as a future interchange point with Etihad Rail, the UAE national rail network.
10. Centrepoint Interchange — Al Rashidiya
The northern starting point of Branch B. Connects directly to the existing Red Line at its current eastern terminus in Al Rashidiya. Extends the entire Red Line catchment area east and south into Mirdif, Al Warqa and International City without passengers needing to change trains.
11. Mirdif Station
Serves Mirdif — one of Dubai’s largest and most established suburban communities, home to a significant UAE national and long-term expat population. Located near Mirdif City Centre mall. Mirdif residents have been waiting for metro access since the network opened in 2009.
12. Al Warqa Station
Serves Al Warqa, a residential community of 60,000 residents, and provides access to Dubai Safari Park — one of the UAE’s most visited wildlife attractions. Currently inaccessible by metro. The station is the closest stop to Dubai Safari Park on the entire network.

2 stations
Open, light-filled interiors. High ceilings, natural light channels, a sense of freedom and elevation.
2 stations
Flowing forms referencing Dubai’s maritime history. Calm colour palettes, wave-like structural elements.
3 stations

2 stations

The Emaar Properties Station — World’s Tallest Metro Station
At 74 metres, the Emaar Properties Station at Dubai Creek Harbour is the tallest metro station in the world. It is underground, yet rises 74 metres — taller than most mid-rise buildings it is surrounded by. For comparison, the average residential tower in JBR is 90 to 120 metres.
International City 1 — The Largest Underground Station in Dubai Metro
International City 1 is not only the Y-junction of the Blue Line — it is the most complex station ever built in Dubai’s metro history. Three Tunnel Boring Machines operate simultaneously from this single station, excavating in different directions at once. Its 44,000m² floor area is larger than many shopping malls.
