4 Hours of Dubai 2026
The first stop of the Asian Le Mans Series 2026 (the 2025/26 championship) took place at Sepang International Circuit in December 2025; where Race 1 and Race 2 opened the season.
The series now moves into its second event, the 4 Hours of Dubai, which hosts Race 3 and Race 4 at Dubai Autodrome.
What happens at the 4 Hours of Dubai
- Two races across the weekend
- Race 3 on Saturday
- Race 4 on Sunday
- Each race runs for four hours and is scored independently.
- LMP2, LMP3, and GT cars race together on the same track, competing within their own categories while sharing the circuit for the full race distance.
The championship will conclude with Race 5 and Race 6 in Abu Dhabi. The accumulated points from all six races will decide the champions in each class.
The Points System
In the Asian Le Mans Series, points are awarded by finishing position within each class (LMP2, LMP3, GT), using a fixed points scale for every 4-hour race.
The standard points allocation is:
| Class finish | Points |
|---|---|
| 1st | 25 |
| 2nd | 18 |
| 3rd | 15 |
| 4th | 12 |
| 5th | 10 |
| 6th | 8 |
| 7th | 6 |
| 8th | 4 |
| 9th | 2 |
| 10th | 1 |
One important condition (this matters)
To be eligible for points at all, a car must:
Be classified as a finisher + Complete at least 70% of the race distance covered by the winning car in its class
If a car finishes 10th but does not meet the 70% distance rule, it gets zero points.
